Pet Sitting & Training

Gagnon's Pet Resort
227 Upton Rd, ColchesterWe are very glad to have Gagnons for our two dogs. We never worry when we go away, we know they are in the best of hands! They have helped us out last minute in a family emergency to short notice weekend getaways and planned vacations. Our male can be uneasy away from home with some nervous reactiveness and they do great with him! The front desk ladies are absolutely wonderful! The place is very clean and never have our dogs came home smelly from Gagnons. It’s a bit of a drive for us but one we are willing to do knowing the care they get. Each time we get a report card telling us how their visit was which is wonderful to get the feedback each and every time. I would highly recommend Gagnons as a safe, clean, and fun environment for your beloved pets!

Central K-9
493 Norwich Ave, ColchesterI've brought both Balnor and Mavrus to Central K9 for Barn Hunt and Dock Diving, and it's been such a great experience. The instructors are incredibly supportive, encouraging, and genuinely want every dog and handler to succeed, no matter your experience level. The atmosphere is welcoming, positive, and makes learning fun. My dogs are always excited to come, and we've both gained so much confidence. If you're looking for a place to try a new sport with your dog, I can't recommend Central K9 enough!

Priam Vineyards a Winiarski Family Vineyard
11 Shailor Hill Rd, ColchesterFirst time visiting a vineyard in Connecticut and certain I started at the best. Rarely do I enjoy every wine in a tasting, but they were all delicious. I am not a Chardonnay fan, but enjoyed the all day Chardonnay with no oak. My favorite was the windfall, perfect easy summer sipping white wine. The reds were good too ranging from light to heavy bodied. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Love the tasting room and the outdoor picnic tables for bringing your own food to enjoy with the wine. Even better they had a huge selection of local beers in cans and even some on tap for the non wine drinkers in your party. Plus the blueberry lemonade wine slushy made with their sweet Jeremy River white was a hit with my family for a dessert treat.
