Plato's Closet Danbury is a popular resale store that offers a wide selection of gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories for teens and young adults. The store specializes in brands like Nike, Adidas, Urban Outfitters, Zara, the North Face, Patagonia, PacSun, and Lululemon, among others. Customers appreciate the variety of good clothes and the affordable prices, often paying much less than retail value. Many find the prices to be very good and enjoy the deals and sales offered regularly. The staff at the Danbury location are generally friendly and helpful, making shopping a pleasant experience. Customers mention that the store has great options, especially for teens, and the clothes are often stylish and in good condition. Some reviews highlight that the store is a better alternative to places like Goodwill, with more fashionable choices. There is a new policy that requires customers to leave their bags outside when trying on clothes, which some find unclear or inconvenient, though staff are described as kind and accommodating. I saw a lot of bad reviews about selling your clothes to Plato's, but I wanted to give it a chance anyways. I brought in a tub full of clothes and they took half the clothes for a decent price. I do think it’s worth a try selling your clothes here!
