“We just purchased our son’s first pair of real shoes today and we could not be happier with our experience! Everyone was kind, helpful and knowledgeable from getting him fitted properly to selecting the best product for him. It’s so nice to see that independently owned shoes stores still exist — we will be returning to Hawley Lane Shoes in the future!”

“Great prices and the staff is always helpful every time I go in, even if I’m only looking. I bought so many shoes here because they are sometimes cheaper here than online which is rare. One reason is because they have only 1-2 pairs left and they want to get rid of them.”

“One of the few places to find quality plus size Womens clothing in the mall, and a pretty great petite selection as well. Found several really cute tops and, lucky me, there was a great sale going on (50% off!). Sales ladies were fabulous, helpful & informative. Store was organized, beautiful and dressing rooms were clean and nicely appointed. I don’t shop often so this was a really nice experience.”

“This is a good clean store at Danbury Fair Mall. Customer service was really polite. They have a lot of selections for women. Most important to me, they don't pressure you to buy. You can relax and look around.”

“Had such a great experience in the store today, really just wanted to thank the store representative for such great service. Javonn was amazing, and I’m honestly just so happy that I was able to exchange my shoes. Went to a few stores and no store wanted to help me, but Javonn went above and beyond and helped me order the shoes. As well as made me feel like I was a valuable customer. Thanks so much!!!”

“First off being a dad this place is really laid back and easy for parents to navigate and not want to stay out of like some stores, 2nd for building a skate board with my son both Matt and Will are the nicest and most down to earth people and helped every inch of the build to not only make a unique board but to save money while doing it, haven’t been to a store that is trying to save you money in a very long time. Will most definitely go back to buy clothes, shoes and boards from those two. Customer for life ??”

“Love this store. Great varied and range of sizes. Picked up a pair of Sandler I had been eyeing online in the store, on sale and with my Rewards dollars got a pair of $55 Sandler for $26! Also, when checking out I was struggling w/ Wi-Fi to access my app to redeem rewards and the sales associate was so patient and helpful. I highly recommend this store for the entire family!”

“This location is incredibly well kept and has the friendliest staff ever. They helped me as I circle through ourfits, found didfent sizes and gave fashion insight as asked. They are not at all pushy, and if you prefer to shop by yourself they will happily step back. HOWEVER, that said they should get a customer service award for the effort they put into their work. Truly great people.”

“I 10000% recommend Think of Kicks for all your sneaker needs. Siena, Priscila and Keven make sure you feel welcomed right from the start and they take their time to ensure your needs are met without pushing extra sales . They are the real deal and whatever you don’t find in their store rest assured they can acquire it for you. Check them out!!!!! You won’t be disappointed”

“This is a great store to get kids shoes. I like how the store is kind of separated in boy and girl sides. My daughter liked stuffed animals, backpacks, and shoes but we only purchased shoes this time. I will remember this store because sometimes it's hard to find stuff that little girls like, because unfortunately not every store sells Barbie, Princess, or My Little Pony themed stuff. This store was right up her alley! The girl working in the store was very helpful and she was swamped with customers but still managed to do a great job aabd stay calm enough to grab us paper towels when my daughter threw up in the store. (She ate a breakfast that didn't agree with her tummy) We purchased two pairs of shoes (both pink) and the cost was moderate. I would expect this for the brand of shoes I bought. Overall I thought this was a great shoe store and I would come back! I love stores that are catered to kids because I hate searching for kids shoes in big box stores. A trip to Journeys is so much easier and I know they will probably have something I'm willing to actually purchase in the size I want.”

“Lots of shoes, mostly good name brands but sometimes sizes are limited and it's a toss up whether the shoe you want is actually going to be a good price or nothing special. It is always worth stopping to check in to see if there is something that works for you.edit: It's a few years later and yes, they've gotten better. The focus on having fewer random brands means a wider selection within one of the chosen brands and a deeper inventory so more sizes are readily available. This has become our first stop when we need shoes.”

“I never had a bad visit to Journeys. This time around an employee name Mario helped us out and he was very kind and patient. Also love that he wasn't trying to force anything on us. He had a very chill demeanor that made the whole shopping experience pleasant”
