“4 stars because it isn't the working-man USPS in the trenches that makes the system laughable, but the overpaid honchos in charge.
Overpaid, I said what I said. Doesn't take much to oversee operations are a disaster from the top down, especially at this location.
Hopefully retirement comes sooner rather than later for some folks there, and a new generation of faces that care will take the helm, ones that at least sort of care.
Finally, I have an entire family of postal workers, don't tell me I don't know how you people operate. ?”

“This is a nice little convenient post office and the woman postal worker who is usually the only one there is a very nice considerate and helpful, I try to go there instead of the main post office on main Street because I don't have to wait forever to get waited on even though she is one person she's very efficient and very likable”

“There was an older man who helped me out earlier today, and he was absolutely wonderful! I came in to send a large shipment of packages out and I mixed up two of the shipping labels. He did not make me feel bad and was really nice about the mistake, even when I got stressed out about it (was having a hard, emotional day). He also was so kind to everyone who came in and knew many of them personally, really showcasing how important community and postal service was. Really exemplary.”

“I have always had excellent service at this post office. A couple days ago, I mailed a padded envelope at the Ellington post office. A half hour after I left I realized I had transposed two numbers on the address. I called the post office and Michelle went and dug out my envelope from the bin and corrected it for me. “I appreciate that this location has extended hours. It’s very difficult working a full-time job and getting to other USPS locations that close before 5:00. During my recent trip, I discovered they closed the main entrance for paving. It’s well marked with orange signs coming off route 20, but only one sign coming from Route 75 that’s easily missed. Drew a quick map to help others.”

I wish they would give the people getting passports clear instructions that they can walk away with, fill out the form, then come back to the counter instead of standing there clogging up the line and every time I hear the same thing “you have to fill everything out, yup you need to fill that out too” idk how a stranger needs to assist you in writing your personal information, it shouldn’t be that difficult. Otherwise the line seems to move quickly.”

“I have utilized this location daily for 27 years! Each and every employee from Christine( now retired), Jose, Maria, Destiny, Alex and others have always been extremely cordial and helpful. This includes their ability to assist in mailing locally, nationally and internationally. Always quick efficient and professional to make sure my items are mailed properly. Many customers who I have seen that seem in a rush or short on time are always helped with an explanation of what to expect on delivery times. Every staff member is top notch in my book.”

“Not much parking around there, but I was very happy that I was able to mail off some letters that had to go out at the very end of the month. Since they were open until 6PM, I was able to get them out in the nick of time. On Saturdays, most post offices are closed after 12PM. This one is not! Happy that they are open later than the usual hours!!!”

“I absolutely love coming to this post office on Enfield Street! Every visit has been a positive experience. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely willing to help.
On one visit, I brought in a package containing important documents. A postal employee recommended a mailing envelope that would better protect my documents, and I’m so glad they did. They took the time to explain the different options instead of just rushing me through the process.
I also had another very important piece of mail to send. I knew I wanted more than just delivery confirmation, and the staff carefully explained the available services and recommended the best option for my situation. Thanks to their guidance, the recipient had to sign for it, and everything arrived safely exactly as planned. That extra peace of mind meant so much to me.
