“Super selection of food you can feel good feeding your pet, plus other goodies for your furbaby. Wonderfully curated selection! Plus it’s got a happy vibe, and the service is outstanding (had the pleasure of meeting Tara last time I was in; she’s awesome, as is her doggo!). You can tell that the people who run this place really and truly love and care about animals. I absolutely love shopping here!”

“We moved to town 3 years ago and weren't sure where we'd end up getting our dog's nails trimmed as even at places we love it felt like a hassle for everyone. Dirty Dog has the option to stay with your dog while the groomer trims (or dremels) nails, which seems to help her calm down a bit. The girls are always quick, incredibly friendly, and know our dog by name. Love getting treats/toys there and every once in a while after a particularly muddy hike we've taken advantage of the DIY baths, too, which are great.”

Theyre casual people who will answers your questions the best way they can. They'll even point you to the right direction. Nothing bad to say about them. Thank you guys!”

“My experience at Vetco has been very positive. The teams are friendly and good with my dog. Some are more thorough than others, but that may be due to the business of their schedule. Prices are very reasonable . I wish Vetco would open a full service clinic/ practice in the Southington area.”

“Just got off the phone with them to cancel a subscription and I gotta say I havent had a customer service experience like that in awhile. So sweet, very helpful, and professional. This is another reminder to shop small business. Also wanted to add that I had to cancel because our dog-baby is in hospice rn so his diet has changed dramatically. When he was eating his green tripe from Oma's Pride, he LOVED IT. Sad to have only found them toward the end of his life ?”

“Incredible wealth of knowledge and very competitive pricing. I visited the WeHa location to find a new dog food for my rescues after months of researching and trialing various mid grade foods from big box stores. The associate working was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions (quite technical questions regarding canine nutrition too!) and was able to make a lot of great recommendations. It’s a breath of fresh air to visit a pet store and know that all of the dog food available has been selected by the staff for quality. They have taken all of the hard work out of the selection process. As an added bonus: the bag of Fromm dog food I purchased was cheaper than amazon. Where else do you get amazing customer service and great pricing on pet items?!? Support local and visit Green Tails! Your wallet and your pet(s) will thank you!”

“Wish I got her name but the cashier the helped me was a literally an angel! This store was one that has the tikicat dental pouches in stock, my cat needs dental surgery desperately but was quoted $4000. This cashier took the time to let me vent and then gave me a recommendation for a vet clinic that was way more affordable and he’s finally getting his surgery tomorrow! If she somehow sees this I appreciate you so much and wish you many blessings. Thanks petsmart for having great, patient, and caring employees.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Abby, a professional dog trainer, at Petco! She was patient with our family, which includes our newly rescued dog and our 5 year old son. She demonstrated various training techniques, had us try them, and clearly explained things we could do at home to continue practicing. She was also great about answering questions, as we are new dog parents.”
