“Not sure what's going on with those reviews from 6 years ago but I have never had issues with standard banking transactions or customer service. I opened my account over 15 years ago when it was CT Bank & Trust, which was taken over by People's Bank, then by Berkshire Bank, and now last year by Beacon Bank. I never had any issues with any of the transitions and my first set of checks still worked throughout. It didn't support Zelle for a bit but eventually did. Granted I've never used them for any complicated transactions. When I took out a car loan I used Cencap Credit Union, which I highly recommend, as they benefit the local community”

I had to go into the Bank to resolve it. The Vice President and Branch Manager Ms.Ariel Garcia, listened to my situation and all my concerns, gave me great advice, and suggested I close my old accounts and open new ones. She could not have offered better customer service. Helping me resolve this issue in a timely manner and taking care of everything to open my new checking and savings accounts and managing all issues related to M&T Corporate . She made me feel confident this matter was resolved, and my finances were once again secure. She gave me a complete package and welcomed me to her branch of M&T as a new customer.
