“The Delamar resort was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was amazing (especially Ben) and our room very comfortable with a great view of the harbour. I would highly recommend the Delamar if you're visiting Greenwich.
My only complaint was how slow the service was in their restaurant. The food was very good and the staff friendly, but the service definitely needs improvent.”

“The room was great however there’s a lot of remodeling going on on my floor. I wasn’t notified of this in advance and the hallway smelled like toxic chemicals. My room did too a little bit

When I asked the woman who checked me in upon arrival, “how is your day going?” her response was, “I’ll be doing better when I’m done for the day”

Probably not what you want your customers to hear. Otherwise she was very helpful and friendly

The woman working the desk in the evening gave me a phenomenal dinner recommendation, Freebird.

I found it curious that on a weekend morning, there was no complementary coffee available though there was some for purchase at a makeshift coffee stand on the lower level

The gym was the best part of my stay.”

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Some need updating. Starbucks coffee in the lobby, onsite dining and more options close by.

Noteworthy details: Fitness center, pool has been removed”

“Home run experience - shoutout to Daniel at the front desk who had me checked in 2 minutes flat with a wifi code and free coffee. Bar / restaurant was perfect, room was clean and large, and staff has been exceptionally kind. I don't write a ton of reviews, but this place is worth it! Nice job and nice hotel.”

“I found everything to be in order. Great value for the money. Kitchenettes available and all rooms have microwave and fridge. Close to NYC and that is a huge bonus. They offer weekly rates, too.”

“For a one night stay it is bearable. Other than that I think the hotel rooms are completely disgusting. A huge cockroach and Im talking huge crawled on to my pillow while I was sitting in bed, i screamed and ran across the room and my partner grabbed it with a plastic bag and threw it outside. the next morning I cut out of there as quickly as I could. The beds are uncomfortable, the bathtub had hair still left in it, the curtains had mold on the bottom, and the carpet on the floor was moist. It is definitely not worth the price you’re paying, super 8 is so much better than this place if you’re looking for an affordable hotel in Stamford.”
