“I worked with Ryan and Justin here at Thames valley. I was having quite the month of bad experiences and bad luck left and right. Like most people I’m sure I can easily say I’ve given up on good customer service. But there’s always the rare breeds that seem to keep the customer service industry alive. These two were exceptional from the start. To the phone conversations on what to do with my water heater all the way to the purchasing process and pick up. They went above and beyond! Great conversation and knowledge. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an easy process or just simply looking for knowledge about the industry. 5 stars all the way around”
“A little expensive but great plants and great staff, would like to see more plant selections in the fall as it's the best time to plant, but I'm happy for thier native section.I would like to see them discontinue the selling of invasive plants like English ivy and barberry.”

“If they don't have it, you probably don't need it! This is an incredible small hardware store with an outstanding inventory. Knowledgeable, friendly, staff will eagerly find what you need and offer assistance with repairs. Need a single specialty bolt, for example? Don't spend hours searching and be forced into purchasing an entire bag from a big store. These guys will sell you the one you need for a fraction of the cost.”
“Good Selection of tools , I specifically look for tools MADE IN USA , Some are available , just need to look for them. as They are the highest quality. Right along with german tools”
“After countless trips to the chain stores walking out just as clueless as I walked in I gave Electrical Wholesalers a try. I wasn't sure what I was actually looking for, or how to communicate what I wanted when I walked in. The staff working the counter were friendly, professional, personable and set me at ease. It was my first trip to a wholesaler, trying to communicate what I was looking for was not going so well on my part. I ended up showing them pics of what I actually had in my home and wanted to switch out light fixtures, switches and add dimmers. If they didn't have what I wanted they explained it could be ordered. I will be back in the future!”
“Busy when I arrived. Aisles are well marked and products are easy to find. Got what I needed. Associates are very helpful. Anastasia answered my question, where are the leaf bags. Right in front of me of course. She happily checked me out and I was on my way. Always come back to Ace!”
“I'll give 4 stars because the locksmith services don't do either, cutting or programming automotive key fob! I'm pretty sure that service is coming just because of technology nowadays, but so far not!”
“Excellent customer service. We love this hardware store. Special shout out to the lovely cashier (closest to the exit door) she brightened our day! So warm and so helpful. We will always return to this hardware store specifically for this particular employee.”
“This weekend I needed three buckets of 6inch spiral common spikes for a landscaping job at my house. Home Depot in Waterford showed 5.7 buckets, which makes no sense, in stock. When I went there to pick up my product, there was not one person at that location that could help me and every time I found a store employee, they would talk to me for a minute and walk away to help someone else. Waterford Home Depot is probably one of the most unprofessional hardware stores in our area. I then called Uncasville Home Depot and they told me they had 6 buckets in stock. When I got there, the assistant manager, Sydney, helped me locate the buckets and was one of the most professional Home Depot employees I have ever met. It would be my suggestion, if you ever need anything out of the ordinary at Home Depot, do not go to Waterford Home Depot, go to Uncasville because the employees there are trained well unlike at the Waterford location.”
“Typical Home Depot setup within the store, but the one thing I have noticed compared to the one in Waterford is that this one is not as busy. Which is always great for me, since its easier to shop withut bumping into a lot of people. And their inventory on some items seem to be more available. I know of at least three times I have come here to shop as the other one by our house was out if stock: Bathroom Vanity, pressure washer, rug, patio chairs, and most recently a specific upgraded BBQ. Guess thats more than 3 times, LOL. Each time we were looking for a specific model or type and noticed thru the HD website the Montville Store had the items in stock. Last time we were there we noticed they are very specific on entrance and exit, having an Associate at each location to ensure you came in thru one door only. Aisles were not designated as one way though. Staff were friendly and knowledgable, except for that one guy guarding the entrance! Nearly ran me away for approaching from the store, telling me it was not an exit. All I wanted was an Associate to help me in the Garden Area. Luckily there was another person there that took care of me. All in all this would be our go to store if it was a little closer. As it stands now, its our "go to store" for those hard to find and/or popular items.”

“All the materials you could ever need and a knowledgeable staff to help you figure out what you need if you're unfamiliar with building or remodeling. Their tools are a little on the expensive side, but you're supporting a local small business rather than a corporate giant that funnels its profits away and out of our local economy. The yard guys can be a little blind to a customer in need, but I assume they're actually busy assembling somebody else's order? Anyways it's one of the last local lumbaryards left so help keep a local business alive and shop there instead of Home Depot or Lowe's.”
“Ring's End is, positively, the BEST Paint Store, in the area! This place carries ALL necessary Paints & Supplies, for ANY ReHab Job! I was greeted, warmly & kindly, and was immediately asked if I needed any assistance. I am, by NO means, a Painter, so I needed some guidance, as to which Products would fit my particular Project, best! I felt as though Ring's End REALLY cares, about their Customers, and they certainly strive, tonprovide the best Customer Experience, possible! “If you want to step up your design when it comes to bath and kitchen fixtures, skip the big box and come here. Besides the beautiful sinks, tubs and toilets, you actually have folks who know what they're doing. At our most recent visit we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful to find what we needed which was not easy. We come here because they have quality products that carry better manufacturers warranties. They have or can get the parts to fix or accentuate whatever they sell. Thank God our plumber turned us on to them!”
