107 Bridge St, GrotonI bring my elderly dog who has had Cruciate surgery on both back legs to have his nails trimmed. She uses such care that he enjoys going! He was pushing on the door to get in back on my visit yesterday. My cat who bites me if I mess with her nails allows this sweet girl to clip her nails without any attempt to get away! During my visits I have seen her grooming badly matted long haired cats without any resistance from them! I’ve seen remnants of matted long haired cats that were removed in almost one piece. Every groomed animal that I see leave, looks professionally groomed and happy! I go as a walk-in and she always takes me no matter how busy she is with a pleasant, professional attitude and my pets like going! I give her the highest recommendation possible! Pricing is very reasonable and your pets are safe!

Companion Animal Hospital: Swinamer Sonya DVM
801 Poquonnock Rd, GrotonI made an appointment to ensure my recently adopted, four year old Golden Retriever, Chance, was established with a local vet. Companion Animal Hospital was recommended by my sister. The visit was very thorough - no vaccinations were needed as he is current, but he was tested for heartworm (negative!), and they performed a fecal test (also negative). Chance is now on heartworm meds as well as an allergy/itch medicine which has helped so much. The appointment took about an hour due to the thoroughness of the tech as well as the Vet. It was a bit pricey, but its been a few years since we needed a Vet, and bottom line, Chance is worth it!

2 W Main St, MysticLoved our scoop. Many flavors, and clearly super high quality went into each batch. The wait was quick, but we drove by later and saw a HUGE line leading to the outside! I got Mystic Mud, which was chocolate ice cream and had lots of candy inclusions. My partner got Mint Chocolate Chunk, and was good quality mint and had no green dye!

937 Groton Long Point Rd, GrotonLovely, older, seafood themed restaurant with waterviews from most windows. Very nice 2 levels of outdoor dining options with umbrellas. ADA accessible interior, outside dining is around the back of the building down a short grassy hill. That did not work for our adult in a wheelchair. Indoor dining was very goid, ADA bathrrom was large, clean, and acessible.
