“I typically don’t shop for groceries at this establishment, as it’s not my usual choice. However, I must say they offer the absolute best freshly baked bread available. The aroma alone as you step inside is enough to draw you in, and the loaves are perfectly golden-brown, crusty on the outside while remaining soft and warm on the inside. Each bite is a delightful experience, making it worth the visit, even if I don’t often find myself here for other items.”

I found dried chiles, Mexican zucchini, achiote, spices, hibiscus and Mexico Lindo habanera sauce that I was looking for. The vegetables are well priced, the cilantro is fresh and not frozen like other places I've been. Happy to find this place.”

“I’ve been looking for Djon Djon for two years. I moved to CT from Boston and have been driving around various towns looking for a Haitian Caribbean market but have had no luck. Fortunately, I’ve been able to purchase many of my ingredients from the Puerto Rican markets but today I drove around again and finally found Djon Djon Maggi cubes also in the dry form. I bought enough to share and just in time for Thanksgiving.”
“Every time I walk in I'm greeted with a smile and the gentleman behind the counter is always available to answer any question I might have. Also, most of the time I can purchase all the items I need right inside instead of having to go to one store for one thing and another store for one other item. Center Market has 99.9% of every thing I need... Right inside! Once again... Very Pleasant Atmosphere.”

“I work at the Cricket Wireless down the street. I came by Carolina's to grab a few Breakfast sandwiches. It had bacon, sausage, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, lettuce and tomatoes. The sandwiches was off the HOOK! The lady cooking hands were blessed by Jesus himself! Best sandwich in West Hartford. Go check them out!”

“I'm going to be honest as always all the c towns that I've been to have been pretty much very good produce clean fresh meats sofrito always on stock the customer service is always polite and courteous and yes I have visited this one as well multiple times and they have the same quality as the others great store to purchase your meats especially if you like your orders in bulk they also have fries that you can buy restaurant bags for little to nothing just in case you're looking for bulk so I definitely recommend if you're in the area to give them a try”

“Christinas Grocery is the BEST one stop shop all store in the entire west end of Hartford. I dont think you could name a single item that they dont carry from food to every random odd and end under the sun. The employees are all incredible friendly and the owner is a very fair and generous person, who always helps out those in the neighborhood and his loyal customers. Despite the fact that I have numerous other stores much closer to my apartment, I chose to walk or drive the extra several blocks just to use their store. I rate this small business 5 stars.”

“The workers are friendly and helpful. Prices are higher than any regular grocery store. That's the price we pay for the convenience. In my opinion, neighborhood grocery stores and convenience stores should be helping their people save $$$$ not robbing them of their hard earned dollars. Some have no choice but to use these types of stores including this one as an everyday grocery because of the convenience and no transportation to the other big box and branded stores. I use them as an emergency go to. I've been in this store maybe 3x since moving into this neighborhood 3 years ago. Each experience was pleasant.”
