“i always lose my gas point because i forget about them until they expire. so i had 60 cents i could use. i went to their gas station and gave me the girl my stop and shop car and 30 dollars in cash. while i was pumping i am looking at the gas pump and usually when you have a discount of that amount the display moves slower. this did notso i asked the girl how much i paid per gallon and she said the full price you did not get a discount. to say i was aggravated would be putting it mildly. so i called number and talked to someone and she walk me through on how to get the points in the future. i guess the girl working at the station never scanned my card. so the customer service lady added thirty days to my points so i would not lose them and she also added the points i had lost the previous month. so when i do go i should have about 1.00 off a gallon. very happy with customer service.”

“This place used to be Nutmeg Farms, but has since changed ownership. The outside is different, but the inside is the same. Fresh food (sandwiches, chicken, and pizza), as well as pre-made dinners, and desserts. Prices are still a little high, but quality service and top notch foods make it worth it. The staff is exceptionally friendly and make you feel welcome. Overall, if you're in the need for food, gas, or a quick stop on Rt. 69, it's a must.”

“Just gas today and it went smoothly with inexpensive fuel. The station was easy to access in my big van, both entering and departing. The receipt printer worked, there was cleaning fluid in with the squeegee and I was on my way quickly. Too early in the morning for a cheesesteak. Sorry, Tom! “I needed a place to get a cold Coke, and low, situated on a curve in New Hartford, was this Mobil station. It's pretty roomy for getting in and out, particularly if you're not there for gas. The inside is much bigger than I was expecting with the usual snacks, drinks, and travel stuffs. There was a deli type space and tables to sit, but given how clean they both were, I'm not sure that they're actually used anymore. But definitely you'll get a cold drink!”

Gas prices are a bit more than the surrounding areas like new Milford or Torrington by 20 to 50 cents. The parking lot is ok in the front, but out back there are one or two significant pot holes so if you have a lowered car or large rims, take your time.”

Unfortunately, my bosses decided they didn't need me anymore and the job went away, so I don't stop here very often any more. The last time I did, at least a year after I lost the job, the cashier remembered me and still knew exactly what I wanted to buy! “This Mobil is conveniently located just off of route 8 in Torrington, Connecticut. The gasoline prices are a little on the high side, but not entirely unreasonable. The area is a little busy, but seems safe. The receipt printed at the pump, which I appreciate. There is a small Patco convenience store with all the usual items you would expect to find. The milk is a little pricey here ($3.49 per gallon). They have diesel fuel here as well. If you need propane and/or kerosene, they have that covered here too. Overall, not a bad place...”

“Had to make an emergency bathroom break on my way home from dinner last night. I knew Cumberland Farms would be open and has a bathroom (and snacks lol). It was around 10pm and the bathroom was cleaner than I expected. Especially for a gas station bathroom. Grabbed my free reward sodas and some snacks. As usual though, the rewards items were out of stock or almost out of stock. There was one "coke creation" left and the other free soda was for a 20oz or 2L bottle but there were no 2L bottles left. Also the Tylenol I needed was out of stock which is kind of a headache... But otherwise the store is in good shape, cashiers are always friendly and now I know the bathrooms are a safe bet.”
