Dr. Loeven, the previous owner was amazing to us, and he is of course missed, along with his relief veterinarian, Dr. Shanley, who was also wonderful.
Recently, Dr. Grace Woodrell has taken ownership of the hospital and she has been incredible. She is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and takes the time to answer my *many* questions.
Every single one of the vet techs are truly amazing and our animals are always so happy to see them. Our dog actually looks forward to his vet visits!
Marianne & Mary at the front desk are also very kind & welcoming. They return calls & emails promptly and always get us a same day appointment when our pets are having issues.
As an anxious pet parent, I feel my animals are in good hands when they come in for an appointment or procedure because all the staff are so reassuring.
Simply the best - love them!

338 Middlebury Rd, MiddleburyWent to La Strega today for lunch. What a great place! Had one of the best deli sandwiches I have had in quite a long time. I had The Annie and I added sopressata. All deli meat was sliced razor thin, just the way it’s supposed to be. Very flavorful. The staff there were super friendly and you felt like you were home! I will return for sure!
