While not expecting to visit a few days in a row with different pets, every visit was transparent in pricing and included no pressure options with best and worst case scenarios for pricing. I appreciated that they understand cost is a factor that keeps many from seeking emergency veterinary care vs waiting until their regular vet opens. They make it easier to choose to treat instead of wait for non life-threatening pet issues.
I also appreciated their triage process. From waiting in the parking lot to grab a crashing animal, to checking non life-threatening pets' vitals to put them in order to be seen, I felt the wait times were reasonable and care was being fairly distributed by need.
Would definitely recommend!

If my usual sitter is unavailable for any reason, there is another sitter, whom I've already met, ready to step in. This was an issue with my last pet-sitting service but never with Always Safe at Home. I love them and trust them with my sweet boy!

Graham develops gentle and patient individual training methodologies customized to the client. Each of my Shepherds had very different training needs. The first was a difficult rescue that needed significant socialization and the second a talented kennel dog with little obedience training. Not only were the training programs very successful, but also each dog were excited to see Graham each week. I totally recommend Graham for all levels of training!

Pleasant Paws Pet Center

We have had our dogs under their care for a very long time and always happy with the care and service provided. Our furry boys Love Dr. Nick Markette. The front desk staff is always pleasant, professional, and most of the time recognize us when we walk in. Thank you for the wonderful care over the years.

173 Mount Pleasant Rd US Rte 6, NewtownWonderful experience from bark to bark! We brought our en energetic dog, Bucky, here for an overnight stay on our way up to Massachusetts. It’s easy on/off I-84 and the staff can’t be friendlier. The person who runs the first desk was polite, informative and made our first stay the best it could be for our fur baby. They have individual kennel runs, so no worries of mixing of dogs and they get enough to run around. Bucky came back looking refreshed and well kept. We’ll be back for more tail wags in the future!

144 Sugar Street, NewtownIn for a treat if you like quality ice cream! Such fantastic flavors! We tried coffee, pumpkin cheesecake, vanilla, and just coconut! They were all delicious! There were picnic tables available both in the shade and in the sun. You could see cows grazing nearby. Only thing that wasn’t so pleasant was the smell of being on a farm.

Familia Bleecker Street Pizza
123 South Main Street, NewtownWe tried a few places in Newtown and stopped searching when we came across Familia Bleeker. Their pizza is delicious and we actually loved the vibe inside, too. They have a beautiful bar and we were able to watch the World Cup on the TV.
We decided to order from Familia for our child's birthday party this past weekend. Delivery was easy, on-time and fresh. Not only did the kids come back for seconds, but the parents were grabbing multiple slices, as well.
Their Chicken Tikka pizza is currently my fav (mild without the optional hot peppers), but they do all of the classics well! Something about their crust. It is cooked to perfection with a delicious flavor and the right thickness. We will definitely be ordering from them again!!

Station 25 Restaurant
255 South Main Street, NewtownWe were out for a motorcycle ride when my husband decided he was craving a burger, so we stopped into Station 25 — and we’re SO glad we did!
We walked in around 8:30 PM and were greeted and seated right away. Even though the kitchen closes at 9, we never once felt rushed. We ordered our drinks, and when our server came back, we were ready with our appetizer and burger orders.
The food came out quickly and was absolutely DELICIOUS!
I had the Station 25 Burger, and it was beyond words. The meat tasted fresh, it was cooked to a PERFECT medium, and the spice was exactly what I was craving!
My husband had the BBQ Burger, which was delicious too, BUT according to him, the real star of the show was the fried mozzarella appetizer. You could immediately tell it was homemade — definitely not the pre-made frozen stuff. Even the sauce tasted fresh and delicious!
This was our first visit to Station 25, but it definitely won’t be our last. In fact, my husband already said today, “We need to go back to Station soon.”
Great food, great service, and a fantastic first experience. We’ll absolutely be back!
