“I recently hosted a surprise birthday party for my mom at the Italian Center and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment I started planning, Amalia and Chris were incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making the event special. Amalia even helped me come up with simple yet elegant decorating ideas that matched exactly what I had envisioned; and Chris even helped me fix the cake after I accidentally put a little dent in it while decorating the table.
The food was outstanding! The whole evening ran smoothly, and thanks to their support, I was able to relax and enjoy seeing my mom’s reaction — a moment I’ll never forget.

“Le Chateau is a wonderful place to photograph a wedding, with bright getting ready rooms, beautiful staircases, terraces and a timeless ballroom that all work perfectly for portraits and candid moments. “I just can't say enough wonderful things about everyone I encountered at the District Music Hall on June 16 for the Wood Brothers concert. I was particularly impressed with the accessibility of the venue. As someone who travels in a power wheelchair, accessibility is extremely important. I was approached by a lovely woman who I believe was named Kayla, I apologize if I'm getting that wrong. She stopped me to ask what my thoughts were on the accessibility of the venue and what they could do to improve. I have been in this wheelchair and out in the world for the last 14 months, and that was the first time anyone has ever asked me that question. Thank you to all the folks at District Music Hall I look forward to coming back many more times in the future. It's an incredible intimate venue and a wonderful place to see a show.”

Her event space is truly unique—she’s created an atmosphere that feels elegant, relaxed yet refined, and warmly inviting, making it completely one of a kind. “This was beyond my expectations. Brought my son and his friend here and we had a really wonderful time. The event was well organized and the venue was clean and very pleasant inside. It was much more family friendly than I would expect. Great value for your money. This might have been the best event / show I ever went to with my son. Picture the exact opposite of monster truck atmosphere. Never too loud or crazy but a ton of action!!! Flame throwers and weapons that actually destroyed, not just for show!!! Always felt very safe and controlled. So much fun!!!”

“I had my wedding at The Village on May 9, and I truly have nothing but amazing things to say. This experience far exceeded my expectations! At first, we were a little hesitant since The Village isn’t a traditional wedding venue—we were concerned that some details might fall through the cracks. But I can confidently say that was not the case at ALL.
A huge part of our incredible experience was thanks to Kaelan, the Director of Events. From the initial planning stages through the entire wedding day, she was by our side—responsive, attentive, kind, detail-oriented… truly everything you could hope for in an event coordinator. Her presence and support were absolutely key to the success of our day. I honestly can’t thank her and her team enough!
The venue itself is stunning—modern, stylish, and full of character, which was exactly the vibe we wanted. We didn’t want the typical banquet-style wedding, and The Village delivered something so much more special. And the food? Outstanding! Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was—such a rare compliment when it comes to wedding food.
I’m still on cloud nine thinking about that night. Thank you to everyone at The Village for making our day so unforgettable!”
“The people working here are amazing. I am not a member, I’m a contractor who does work for them. We helped them out last minute recently and when we finished it was right around rush hour. I wasn’t looking forward to sitting in traffic and then the GM invited us to stay, treated us to some food, and allowed us to hang out in their beautifully renovated club until traffic died down. Everyone I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with from the GM, Pool manager, snack bar, service staff….amazingly personable and helpful.
If you live in the area and are shopping around for a beach club, Tokeneke is definitely worth a look. I can only imagine what the wait list might look like though. Best of luck!”

“I should have written this review nearly two years ago. I was on my way from Southwest Virginia to Maine to spend a few days there for Thanksgiving, and my car's timing chain went bad on CT's Cross County Expressway, leaving me stranded. I got it towed into Norwalk CT, and stayed at The Watershed, just a block from the garage. Kaitlyn at the front desk was so friendly, helpful, and convenient, that she made my involuntary overnight stay in Norwalk much less stressful than it would have been otherwise.
As far as the rooms and amenities, they were clean and pleasant and I loved the view of the railroad bridge outside the window. The staff was by far the best part of my stay though, and made if feel like I wasn't stranded. I'd love to come back and stay here again under brighter circumstances. I highly recommend The Watershed. Thank you so much, Kaitlyn!”
“We just checked out. Lovely business hotel. We enjoyed its location in Stamford and explored the city. Amenities are a little thin. One coffee pod in the room. No spare towels. And strangely blue-stained pillowcases. But overall, nice stay”
“I travel to town every month and this is my home away from home. The staff: Ari, Daniel, Mo, Rose, Sebastian always greet meet by name each time I arrive and every time I come or go all week. Rooms comfortable and clean and the maid services are excellent. Highly recommend for a stay in the area.”

“This is one of my favorite parks and a wonderful addition to the town. The walking trails are well maintained and easy to follow. Mostly woodsy but some around the various playing field. I would not say a nature hike by diverse enough to be interesting. The mansion is pretty to see but I do not believe accessible unless you are attending a function there. Nice playing fields and playground.”
