Review June 2026: Zion and the guys game quickly when I told them one of the tires they put on me was a little too tight and they came by quick to fix free of charge.
Just reliable and consistent folks!”
“I called Elm City Auto Wrecking On April 27th 2023 spoke with Brian to get a quote on selling our Vw Passat and on top of him being polite and professional he came back with a Very reasonable cash offer that I agreed to and had a immediate service to pick up the car and the driver came with in an hour to flat bed it away.I would highly recommend Elm City to anyone that wants a reasonable offer and not a ridiculous low ball offer just be sure you Catalytic Converter is intact on your vehicle and you should be good to go.”
“Mr. Khan,
Was very helpful and swiftly explained the situation with my tires how to handle it and how to make sense of the situation!
He’s a great help and I’m happy he was here to work with me”
“They are above and beyond the best mechanics, the only downside is that there's not much room for that many cars so there is a bit of a wait for you to drop off your car. There's no attempt to fix things that aren't broken, or upsale you as I've experienced at other mechanics and dealer service departments. They are fair in their dealings and are professional & friendly in every interaction I have had with them. Plus occasionally there's a chill dog that hangs out there and you can pet it, the dog is not there every day.
As long as you can deal with waiting for a couple of days, it's the best mechanic in New Haven.”
“Texted the number Friday night , got a call 20 minutes later to come in on Saturday . I showed up around 10:30 am left by 11 . Two guys were friendly and the price was great .”
“Very helpful, on our way to nyc when low tire pressure light came on. They checked, added air, checked the spare to make sure it had air just in case we had problems later, took us right away, right off 95S and were very reasonable.”
“I came in for a WAY overdue oil change!! WAY! The guys flushed my engine and changed the oil! Sounds like a new car again! Don't let your oil go! Come here for super quick and friendly service and very reasonable prices!”
“Jose is one of THE BEST, - hands down!!! Knowledgeable & experienced, skillful problem solver, kind & simpático and, above all, he is honest & fair to boot! - He does not try to rip you off, or sell you things you don't need, but will work with you to keep you rolling within your means. - Of course, he can also do an insane tune-up if you so wish. - He does an awesome job, every time. - Be it exchanging your flat tire for a gently used one right on the spot, installing a new part which he gets for you or you purchased on your own, or working creative magic to help you out in a pinch, - like fixing a broken exhaust pipe by welding in a piece of random pipe...which is gonna outlast the rest of the muffler that has been put in new, before... - he is the one you'll want to take your car to! - A saving grace and a blessing to have around!”
“Hit a construction nail in my tire and my car was loosing air fast. Came in there with my 7-series with 12PSI left and they patched my tire up in under 2 mins while also being busy with other customers. Real grateful for these guys!”
“Fast and friendly service - installed 4 new tires purchased elsewhere in 20 minutes flat. Luis made my life so easy and didn't up-sell me on a balance that I didn't necessarily need, just for the cash.So relieved to get this chore done from someone with a smile! Thanks Luis!!”
“This was such a nice experience. The best price and honest service. I punctured my tire with a large piece of metal, it couldn't be fix. I called around and got prices from $150-$216 for one tire! Then, I called this guy gave him the size and he simply said $50 for a used tired and $90 when brand new. I get there and after some warm conversation, he replaced in less than 5 minutes! He may not be fluent speaking English, but what he lacks in linguistics he makes up in service.”
