Tox Brewing Company
635 Broad St, New LondonWe’ve been to the old location (several times) and the new one and it’s still one of our top 3 breweries to go to! Great beers, great staff and great pizza! Tox is definitely a must when traveling in or through CT and RI.

Jake's Diner on State Street
138 State St, New LondonI have been back in Dayton Ohio for a little over 2 years. I have tried to find a place that does breakfast as well as Jakes. I have found one that I like very much, but I have never seen eggs done over easy as fantastic as Jakes are. We were living on Fishers Island for 19 years before we moved back and we would take the ferry as often as we could . Jake and his family are welcoming to all.

A Place 2 Go Jamaican Restaurant
422 Williams St, New LondonIn town visiting mom and we stumbled on this local Jamaican restaurant. The oxtails fell off the bone and had great flavor, the rice & peas were right and the cabbage was just as I like (not over cooked). The Jerk chicken wasn't great but was definitely ok, we also had some decent patties and of course ginger beer. The location was clean and staff very friendly!! Will be back to try the other dishes next visit to the area.

Dockside Resort Bar
32 Bank St, New LondonI was a designated driver for the night, it was a Tuesday so it was pretty dead, got there at midnight and closed the bar with a couple friends, seems like a nice spot. I'll probably go again

The blue duck bar & kitchen
52 Bank St, New LondonThese were easily the best fried calamari I've had in a long time. It was some white balsamic dressing? I won't do it justice with trying to describe it, but it was beautifully balanced and paired with the dish perfectly. Fun local atmosphere with great service.

Captain Scott's Lobster Dock
80 Hamilton St, New LondonCaptain Scott’s was a great choice for my solo lunch! As a Midwesterner in the Northeast, a lobster roll at a proper dockside restaurant was a must. All seating is outside, and you are sitting right next to the marina. The warm lobster roll was bursting with buttery chunks of fresh lobster, and the onion rings were homemade. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely be back!

The Yolk Cafe
825 Montauk Ave, New LondonIf food is more important to you than fancy frills, then this place is for you. The owner is the chef / cook and will welcome you personally. She's a wizard with omelets! Coffee (including decaf) is guaranteed fresh, each cop's design is unique, and you'll love the refills, too. If they are busy service may be spotty; it's worthy the wait! Great value!!!
