She was open to changes that I suggested and we bonded from there. The cabinets came in early and my installer, Serigy, was great. He was very respectful of my home and very efficient. “I can’t match socks and my wife was at work the day I had to pick up the tile we had ordered for the bathroom. I found I needed edging for this and not being able to pick socks that match was at risk. Helen is brilliant. She went through all the options between what are called pencils and Schluter and help me find a perfect color match even without my wife being there. Roynette topped it off at the register with a constant smile and wrapping the purchase up for me since my arm is in sling. This is a great store and I look forward to the day. I need more tile.”

“I had a great experience today! I worked with Rick and Rose to solve a purchase deadline. I’ve been shopping around for a bathroom vanity for a few weeks! Rick the salesperson was very knowledgeable and personable. This was my fourth trip to the East Hartford store and he was in the midst of replacing a sink, yet willing to assist me with my questions. He gave me insight on two different items and allowed me to make a decision which led to a purchase that was almost nixed. Todd and Luke were the only people in the store my more recent visits where I had no interactions. No one was willing to even approach and inquire if I needed assistance or had any questions about my visit into the store prior. Thing is I had been here back in March to search for a vanity and sink. Rick was the only person to assist at that visit as well I recall due to his accent. Thank you Rick! Thank you also Rose!”
“My wife and I purchased stair railings from Lyon and Billard for our front steps. The sales rep Glenn was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the products. He was also able to recommend an installer who was familiar with them as well.
On installation day, there were additional items needed, which Glenn picked up at the supplier, and brought to our house himself. This was greatly appreciated.

“Our challenge was a small interior kitchen with little natural light, very little counter space and poorly designed storage options. Jim and Sara listened to what we wanted and came up with several very creative solutions. They were patient throughout our angst of getting things just right - configuration, color, material, lighting and every detail we could imagine. We now have a wonderful view out to the yard, lots of counter space and lots of thoughtful storage for everything.John, and Ed managed the entire installation process and always kept us informed of the schedule. Everyone who worked in our home - Henry, Daniel, Greg - were always on time, did meticulous work and cleaned up at the end of the day. Our house was treated as a home, not a workshop.Every step was properly managed and, well communicated. We have not one negative remark for the entire process. This is an amazing team and we can't thank them enough for their efforts.Our next project is the master bathroom, and we won't even consider calling anyone except Holland Kitchens.”
