83 Merryall Road, New MilfordBaxter and Max are frequent fliers with Merryall Kennels! They love seeing Paul and Michelle, having outside time, and playing bubbles. These dogs are very well cared for, and Michelle is very capable with their daily vitamins and any special requests our fluffy friends may have. The dogs come home from boarding, daycare, or grooming clean and fresh. They get excited when we make the turn onto Merryall Road because they know where they are going!!

The Downtown Dog
120 Housatonic Avenue, New MilfordI brought my two dogs in for grooming, teeth cleaning, and nail trimming. They had a great time and came home so fluffy and happy! We have a Bernese mountain dog and a German Shepard so big furry girls and 5 days later they are still both fluffy and beautiful. They also gave some great recommendations for nail maintenance for the now senior German shepherd. We will be back.

117 Kent Road, New MilfordI can't thank Dr. Maizel and staff enough for the incredible care and kindness shown to our family after a scary driveway incident with Bella getting run over! I saw they were open as I was driving to an emergency vet much further away but figured it best to see if they could see here ASAP. They did without hesitation! And the care and kindness were top notch! No major issues form the incident and comfort measures provided to help her recover at home. We have found our new permanent vet for Bella.

2 Sega Drive, New MilfordDr Belsen and his staff were amazing through a brief but severe illness and the death of our dog. They were compassionate and very obviously cared about not only our fur-baby, but about us too. It was one of the worst times of our lives but they went above and beyond to support us and care for Lulu in her final days.

Let me say that I have never seen rolls as large as the one's they use -- absolutely HUGE! Just gigantic torpedo rolls! Now I only ever have breakfast or lunch here on occasion but I watch and see what these ladies are doing back there. Everything is being made fresh on the premises! Everything! Sometimes the smells are overwhelming in there with all of the cooking, different flavors and meats cooking! Bottom line: if you like Latin and or Spanish food/deli/hot buffet -- well, this IS the place. Excellent prices and generous portions! Surprisingly lousy coffee! Truly a take-out place.

We went in for 1 kitten and because I made the mistake of bringing my youngest daughter we left with 2, but we're so excited to have our new family members! In that time I have had three German Shepherds from Von Wilhendorf, beginning with Gymbo and now my newest, Wylie. John is simply the best — a world class breeder and trainer who genuinely cares about his dogs and the families who take them home. He is a straight shooter who stands behind his dogs, and his knowledge, dedication, and integrity are unmatched. Yes, his dogs are an investment — but you get exactly what you pay for, and then some. The quality, health, and temperament speak for themselves the moment you meet your puppy.
I visited twice before bringing Wylie home — and both times John and Karen gave me their full attention. They don't just talk to you about dogs — they talk to you about you. They listen, they care, and they genuinely wanted to make sure I was going home with exactly the right dog for me. John even unboxed my crate, set it up, and made sure it fit properly in my car before I left for the trip home. He also sent me off with a collar and other supplies to get me started. Those are the touches that tell you everything about the kind of people they are.
If you want the best German Shepherd you will ever own, there is simply no one else. Both are such nice people — I truly enjoy talking and spending time with them. I always come back to John — and Wylie is proof of why.
