“What a wonderful experience! My husband and I love taking weekend gateway to different places. I came across the Inn and couldn't have been happier. The bed and breakfast atmosphere was just what we needed for our Valentines Weekend away. The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious the view while having coffee was breath taking and relaxing. The menu was just enough. The room was our favorite, the decor, the layout, the cozy feeling we felt while staying there. By far one of the most quiet places at night. THIS was exactly what we wanted to recharge and relax! The inn provided cheese and wine in the evenings and cookies! YUMM, coffee bars set up in both buildings. It was perfect for us. We will be back we enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you to the staff for making it even more memorable.”

“Always a pleasure staying in this quant waterfront hotel. Clean room and friendly management. Close to restaurants, shops and 95.Rates are very affordable for this area where many hotels are ridiculously priced.”

“Jevon was a very polite and hardworking employee! He made the experience worth it. We saw him do practically everything while we were there and he was very respectful every time we saw and talked to him. Otherwise the lodge was practically falling apart. We were there 13 days and there was a leak coming from a pipe inside the wall outside of our room that saturated the hallway carpet. It wasn’t fixed the entire time we were there so there was just a giant molding puddle in the hallway.”

“This is my second stay in 2024 at Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton and I will gladly stay again when I am in the area. Service is excellent. The prepared breakfast is delicious and quickly served. The evening diner selection is worth trying: I had the grilled salmon with mixed greens and mashed potatoes; recommended. The free in room WiFi is hit or miss and could be better and I experienced poor connections when working in my room. I rate this stay as excellent and I gladly recommend this hotel when your travels bring you to the region. I want to give thanks to Liz at the Front Desk - she was a joy to see again after a long day of travel. Thank you, Liz!

“My husband and I stayed here in August for a few days so we could explore the area and spend time with my brother and his family, who were renting a cottage nearby. My mother came with us and rented her own room. It was the perfect home base to return to at night after spending an afternoon on a Lights and Sights cruise in New London and a day at the beach with my brother. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and affordable. We liked that it had well-stocked kitchenette with a full size refrigerator. The owner was friendly and accommodating when we made our reservation, and again when I had to change it to a different date. We were easily able to get into our room using a code. It's a super short drive to Niantic, so we could easily drive to the bakery in the morning to pick up breakfast sandwiches and grinders for the beach and had plenty of restaurants to choose from, including in nearby Westbrook. My only suggestion is for the room to have at least one comfy chair, as it is plenty spacious to fit one and I would have preferred to not sit on the bed at night to watch TV or on the breakfast bar stool to drink my coffee, though I understand this is a personal preference. I ended up bringing in a beach chair for these purposes.”

“I have been coming to this motel for years, usually when I pass thru Ct. I always loved it until this last stay. Never complained, never had the room serviced, and left tips. I have spent bucketfuls of cash on this motel and brought them a client who has spent almost 60 thousand dolllars there. Sadly this time I was staying by the day rather than the week and during the weekend they jacked up my rate and never told me. They just went and charged my card. I’m not even sure you can legally do this without notifying the card holder. The manager refused to refund the difference. He said he was not prepared to lose the revenue on the rate hike and was not available to talk to me when I left a list of the crazy charges on my card with the front desk. He said I should have known this but they have never done it to me in the past. I would never have stayed there if I knew they would do this. Consequently they have lost me as a customer and I plan to not stay there again. If you are staying there daily, make sure you ask them if they willl raise the rate on you or else you could be in for quite the surprise upon checkout.”

“Large room, comfortable king bed, fridge was good! Clean! Comparing the prices, I recommend this hotel!

Safety: It’s quiet and there weren’t many people staying there and I didn’t see any homeless. I felt safe and comfortable.”

“This was the perfect place for me to stop aftera long, long day of driving.The room was big with a living room area.I was so pleasantly surprised.The staff was gracious and the roomwas spotless.I’m very thankful.I’ll be back.”

“We got a good deal to stay here through Priceline on a Monday through Wednesday. Our room was very simple and super clean. Comfortable beds, though the pillows were lumpy. A/C was fully functional but a little noisy. The people at the desk (except for the one at night) were very nice and super helpful. The pool area has definitely seen better days, but it was clean. Yes, the hotel could use some upgrades, but we have definitely had much worse experiences at other places that charge significantly more. Would we go back? Yes. It was a good value.

Walkability: The hotel didn't have snacks, but the gas station next door did. Also, there were shops in the area including a Stop & Shop.”
