The rooms were impressively spacious and exceptionally clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment after a full day of exploring. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that added so much to our trip.”

“The Mermaid Inn is such a magical hidden gem of Mystic! Beautiful historic home! Cozy 4 bedroom B&B all with the most whimsical decor and artwork! Josephine is the most kind and welcoming innkeeper. The homemade breakfasts are absolutely delicious, like a taste of home on your travels!”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. The gym was small but great for a cardio workout and also had water available. The pool kept the kids busy, provided towels and was a good size but the water temperature was a bit on the cold side. The hotel lobby was a great place to lounge around and you can definitely sit and eat your take out there or have a drink. You can also order takeout from the hotel restaurant and eat it in the lobby while consuming your own beverages. Finally the location is great! It is right across the street from the aquarium (which we loved) and the cute mystic villy. I greatly recommend this hotel!”

“The location of this hotel is perfect for a quick trip to Mystic! The rooms were clean and beds extremely comfortable; our stay was just one night but we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with several delicious options, rich coffee and added entertainment of the automated pancake machine! Our family stayed here at the same time as another guest who reviewed and indicated no hot water in the showers, and issues with the response and condescension of the staff. While I will agree that the hot water was a little finicky and took several minutes to get warmed up, we did witness the entire conversation that this guest had with the front desk - LOUDLY in the lobby - while we were having breakfast. Im sorry they experienced such frustration but there are certainly more appropriate ways to deal with that than screaming and disrupting an entire lobby of people. The person at the desk handled it with grace, so kudos to them! I would not normally mention another review in mine however I feel that the management team at this hotel should have perhaps a different perspective. We would absolutely stay here again, and likely will for a longer period of time.”

“Just spent 30 days at the Mystic Marriott & Spa off Exit 88. The rooms have no microwave, no kitchenette/stove/dishwasher, I paid more there and is a bit isolated.

This Marriott Residence has it all, you truly get what you pay for. It has a large refrigerator, a microwave, two-burner stove, a dishwasher, separated bedroom, full bath(with an awesome heated lamp in the shower area), an office desk, a dining table, pull-out sofa, cabinets and dressers everywhere, a portable radiator, a closet by the door for coats... such a wonderful deal.

A 24/7 Gym, a basketball court, free breakfast and complimentary cookies(that tasted home-baked).

I stay at hotels a lot for business. This stay is a huge relief. Not a 5-Star, but definitely cozy and has everything you need and want. The only negative I can kind of say is that it is kinda secluded and hidden by woods off the interstate(but hey, that can be a positive in itself).”

“I had a great stay at the Mystic River Hotel & Suites—clean, quiet room with a comfy bed plus a mini fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly, check-in was easy, and the location is super convenient—just minutes from Mystic Aquarium, Olde Mistick Village, and plenty of restaurants. A solid, affordable choice in Mystic—I’d stay again!”

“The hotel could use some improvements for sure. Honestly it's not bad. The room I stayed in had a jacuzzi shower combo. The faucet for the bath doesnt completely close when showering, and the top of the shower unit was a little off. The room is comfortable and smelt neutral/clean. The room is spacious and the balcony is a nice touch. The pool area is warm and the pool was clean. Halways to the rooms were also very clean. Guest services was fantastic and friendly. The price is fair, and location is awesome. Again, it could use some preventive maintenance as there is rust on the fire exit from the pool, but ive stayed in way worse. It's a good hotel thats good for the money. Not a 4 star hotel, just a good hotel.”
