If you want the Hilton experience, you should stay at the Hilton. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Very satisfied and went back for a second night after a day at Mystic Seaport. “The room was decent and had a nice, fresh smell from whatever they sprayed. Overall, we had no major complaints about the room, but the pillows were probably our biggest issue. They weren’t very comfortable, and the shower had very low water pressure, with barely enough water coming out while showering. Lastly, the air conditioner wasn’t cool enough, although it did work.

We couldn’t find the sauna anywhere, so we weren’t able to use it. The small indoor pool was alright, although when we went in, there were some bugs and hair in the water, which made us question how clean it actually was, even though we assume it was chlorinated.

The breakfast was good overall, with eggs, sausage, two types of cereal, waffles, and oatmeal. Our only complaint was that there was no cold drinking water available—only hot water. One of the staff members told us that we could get bottled water from the front desk. If that’s the case, it would be helpful to mention this during check-in or have it written somewhere in the breakfast area so guests know.

The service was fine, and we had no complaints about the staff. The location was definitely a plus, as everything we needed was nearby, and Mystic was only about 15 minutes away.

There weren’t any rooms available in Mystic itself, so we ended up staying here instead, and honestly, we don’t regret it. We got a king-size room, which was what we had originally planned for anyway.
