“I went to the Dollar General during the Corona Viruses epidemic.. l was lucky to find toilet paper , lysol wipes and hand sanitizer.. the staff was friendly and helpful. Also they had tape on the floor to assure people were 6ft apart. I will definitely go back”

It's something I truly look forward to. Hanmi is a special woman. This is a quaint little store family owned. They have cute little Asian trinkets and a popular item called Kimbap. “Great deli and market. I was there for lunch and the line was long ~20 people in front of me. To my surprise I was back in my car in about 10 minutes. They hustle. The sandwich was very good and size was what you expect, not massive but you definitely got what you paid for. I will be back.”
“I love this store! Me and my son are always greeted with smiles and helpful hands! There’s a small coffee/hot chocolate/tea station where you can prepare coffee for self and get hot cocoa. I brought bread at this location which expired 3 days after I brought it and the manager had no issues with allowing me to get something else! THE SANDWICHES are AMAZINGLY fresh! And if you happen to shop around while your sandwich is being made the person at the deli will find you or have it ready at the cashier which is helpful when you’re a mama bear grabbing things and trying not to forget thing”

“I like this place for getting a healthy lunch when I'm out on the road. They have a salad bar and some times I just get some carrot sticks and hard boiled eggs for lunch. Sometimes I get a kombucha. I'm trying to re-engineer my gut micro biome. I used to get a dollar chicken sandwich and Diet Coke from Wendy's. This is much better for me. They also have some hot prepared food. Last time I got some cooked vegetables in a balsamic sauce and a bit of chicken with curry flavor and red peppers. It's very healthy, lots of vegetables and not very expensive at all. I also like that it's quiet and not crowded like Whole Foods. It's a quick in-and-out and the guys at the register are pleasant.”

“Foodworks reliably has fresh organic produce and sometimes from local farms as well. The store also carries lots of supplements (which I know nothing about but which seem to draw many customers.) and aisles of interesting items.)While the store offers a card for a discount, the prices are often outrageous. Of course, an independent store needs to boost prices, but nearly double the price of some eggs and yogurt readily available elsewhere seems unreasonable (e.g. $15.50 for a large yogurt costing 8.50 at Big Y. The service is unevenly friendly-- some extremely personable individuals stand noticeably apart from some dour workers. I know it's not their responsibility to smile, but it's nice when they do. As for bulk items, the selection is limited. I would love to see more interesting bulk flours. Similarly, it would be nice to find vegetables and fruit not readily available elsewhere, such as heirloom varieties of apples or grains. Special orders are a mystery : there's a book for requests, but it's not always clear whether something can or cannot be ordered. It's a very nice store but could be a lot better with more attention to what customers would like to see brought into the store and a more pleasant attitude towards those customers, especially not ordering/barking at people to line up in their odd --it seems backwards to me!--checkout line.”

“My friends and I got the opportunity to dine in at the restaurant today. It was a quiet setting but it’s very cozy. The general tso’s chicken with pork fried rice was absolutely delicious. That was the best pork fried rice i’ve ever had, you could tell it was flavored and cooked with love. Such a bonus that it is connected to the market and you get to choose between a variety of asian snacks! This place definitely feels family owned and I will definitely be coming more frequently and telling more people about this place! 5 Star”
