“I have come to T&J twice in the last few weeks for some last minute groceries. It has been an amazing convenience for me and my family. They have most dry goods and produce carried in the bigger stores. I've never purchased meats, but I can speak to the quality of the produce. I've gotten strawberries and bananas from T&J and they've been great quality. I mostly purchase fruit and dry goods and the prices seem comparable to the bigger grocery stores. In this crazy economy, I think that is fair. But, what I love the most about T&J is how friendly and down to earth all the employees are. They seem genuinely happy to be there and to help customers.”

“Love this place! Always a go to for a quick sandwich later at night. Hot or cold sandwiches. Chips. Candies. Other snacks. Ice creams. Even malt alcohol until a certain time. Coffee. Pastries. Tobacco and lottery. And of course the usual drinks and other groceries (milk, eggs, bread, butter- even pies)”

“Hole in the Wall! Ecuadorian buffet, priced by weight. Unique selection of meat corn and rice, not for vegetarians! The roasted pork was very savory and intense, the warm comforting lentils were the perfect buddy for it, (too salty alone.) interesting sliced organ meat in a creamy sauce for the more adventurous eaters. Giant Peruvian corn, stewed potatoes, chicken, all yummy... and finally chicken Mac and cheese for the fussy types. Got some produce for later while at it!”

“Very good store from meat dept. to dairy to bakery to courtesy desk. Son of a 35 year tenured butcher? The cappuccino chip Muffins are great. Just wondering why a number of SR Bakery depts. don't make any type of chocolate cake Donuts anymore? Thanks to all the staff”

“It's a small space but it's loaded with all types of merchandise. The clerk was friendly and polite. Prices vary, it's not a 1$ store but items are affordable and the frozen foods selection is what it is.”

“I shop everywhere because no one store has everything I need.Shop Rite often has the best prices but their selection is uneven, I often can't find grocery items in stock.Their seafood department is usually good, clean and well stocked, the meat department is close, but doesn't always have what I'm looking for.Produce is uneven, the organic section is nice, but the regular fruit is often bruised and picked over. I'm also not a fan of prepacked and bagged fruit.The Frozen and Dairy sections are well stocked and rarely sold out of sale items.Florist is small and I never see staff there, Bakery is crowded and heavy on frozen baked goods.The employees are pleasant enough, but if there are lines, I use the self checkout.Not a phenomenal experience, but good enough for me to shop there, but the Hamden store, same owner, is kept better.”

“This is a wonderful convenient store with good prices and friendly service. I also go here to pick up Wish packages and the cashier is always so helpful. Sometimes she has to spend some time looking them but she has never failed to deliver. Do the right thing. If there are people there shopping let them go before you. Yout Wish package can wait!”

“I love this place I went almost everyday once I found it and it was the place to go for munchies, snacks, drinks, or meet up with the click and act like yall run these streets because mom hasn't called you back for dinner yet. If you are in the area you should definitely make a pit stop and get some snacks... or some cigs”

“Applied for a mortgage a while ago had to show a lot of paperwork to where my money was coming from had to go back and forth about 10 times to the bank to have statements shown stamped and signed the tellers and bank manager were always very friendly helpful I never would have been able to go through it without their help I would recommend this bank to everyone”

“A good place to shop for Asian groceries. We get Thai basil, many other Thai special grocery items here which we don't find anywhere else. It's maintained very clean. They have a small juice bar inside where they offer Thai teas, and desserts. We tried non diary bubble tea and it was yum.”
