“As someone who works in the trades this is a vital store for me. The employees are very knowledgeable about where items are. They always have sales going on, especially for my beloved Milwaukee and DeWalt tools.
I'm basically there once a month to stock up on drill bits, misc tools, drivers, and welding consumables, albeit airgas in North Haven has a much more selective supply of welding gear, but can become very pricy when all I need is some 7018 rods or new gloves.
Even there garden center is top notch.
You won't be disappointed. Great place to browse and spend money.”
“Wow! When I entered the showroom, I thought I died, and went to bathroom heaven. Their showroom is better than my entire house! The only thing better than the showroom, though, was their customer service. The receptionist, Sherleen, is outstanding! She is courteous, professional, and personable. The girl is an absolute gem. Whatever they're paying her is not enough! Don't buy her coffee, or a pizza lunch, give her a raise. Show me the money! The sales associate, Dariluz, was no less superior. She was helpful, efficient, and very amenable. In fact, she does the work of two people. She's is competently bilingual, as was Sherleen, and they should be appropriately, and significantly compensated. Show me the money! Employers should pay for these skills, that are highly sougt after. Finally, Terry, at the parts counter was friendly, and a wizard at attention to detail, with a wicked sense of humor. You can tell he enjoys his job. BENDER should feel fortunate to have these incredible employees representing them. If you require any further details of my visit, just call me. “I've been buying at Richlin's for many years. For a store their size they are very well stocked. It's a rare occasion that I don't find what I want. It sure beats traveling to the big stores in the area. Many times it saved me when doing fast emergency home repairs, like a plumbing repair or auto fix. The staff has always been pleasant to my wife and I. On two occasions the girl at the checkout installed wiper blades for me. This would cost a small fortune at my car dealer. I would be at a great loss if Richlin were to close. I highly recommend Richlin.

“Hidden gem in Branford. Though directions will only bring you to the building, drive around the right side of the building and you'll see the sign. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and experienced. They have a wide variety of mostly domestic woods, but are also capable of sourcing things for you - I picked up some black walnut for a project. If you're a woodworker of any stripe, or a contractor building with quality materials, this is the place in town for you. When you find a good place like this, you want to keep it open; pay them a visit, you won't regret it.”

“I had a hydraulic pressure line blow on a machine. Every attempt to cross-reference the part in the manual hit a dead end as the machine is ancient.I found the Parker Store in a search for a replacement hose. Grabbed the hose and hopped in the truck. Gordon took the blown hose and had a new one ready for me in minutes while I waited.Great operation, great service, and local! I can't say enough good things about this store.”
“This location takes very well care of the floral especially the out door. Everything was watered well and in bloom. All the perennials were in excellent condition.”
“Needed some concrete resurfacer and tried to pay for it with my gift card. I went to use my key to scratch off the hidden code on the back but Noemi at checkout handed me a coin and told me my key would likely damage the card and code. Coin worked like a charm, but mainly here for a shout out to Noemi for being kind, helpful and funny! Loved her!”

“Bought over a dozen Majesty windows a couple years ago. I had a great installer and everything went to plan. Windows are weathering well.
But Harvey's base model screen turned out to be cheaper and flimsier than I imagined. The little tabs tore off most of them. The ones I can actually get back in, I'll have to never take out. It took the shine off the product line big time.”
