“In the past 48 hours I went through hell and back ever since two days ago (March 15, 2024) my car broke down and I needed a tow to get myself from Ct to where I live in the Bronx. I drive a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and it broke down on me on the side of the road nearby exit 9 on I-91. On that night I pulled off to the side and I had to let my car cool off since it was smoking due to the oil in the car leaking. Eventually I made it back to my girlfriend's house since that was my destination I took my time to get there because of the state of the vehicle. I decided the next day in the morning, (March 16, 2024), I will wake up early and call Triple A to get my car towed from my girlfriends house to my House located in the Bronx. Around 9:20 in the morning, I made the call to AAA and told them what had happened and explained to them coherently that I needed a flatbed and it was me and my brother that needed to ride with the driver to get back home. I spoke to a Lady named Sam and she said she notated all the details that I told her. She said in about an hour that I will receive a call and text message. In about 15-20 minutes I got a call from LOMBARD MOTORS saying that they'll be there to pick the car up. When the time came and the man was outside, I went out to greet him and already, the man had an attitude as I went to greet and shake his hand, he refused me. I knew off the bat I was going to get a terrible experience. He told me my brother could not come with me even tho I told the triple A lady it was me and someone else, but he refused to let my brother get on. I said okay fine let me just ride with this dude and get back home and I'll pay for a train ticket for my brother to come back. He hooked up my vehicle with a disgust face like he was mad at the world. I sat in the passenger seat with him and thought I was going to go back home. Boy oh boy I was wrong. The man stops at NELCON SERVICE CENTER and as I asked him why are you stopping here I need to go back to the Bronx. He disregarded me and with attitude told me he wasn't going to do it. Mind you I specifically notated to Triple A I need to go back to the Bronx as I AM A PREMIER MEMBER AND THE TRIP MET THE REQUIREMENTS as it was 70 MILES out of the 100 limit. With distain, The man refused to answer me and told me that his boss wanted him to drop my car off there which I found out was total Bullshit. It was because the man did not want to take that trip and gave the situation to NELCON. Now I'm 18 and this was my first experience dealing with Triple A and my car broke down and now Im being denied my services to be taken back home. I was confused and felt like as it rains it just pours, things kept getting worse and worse. Now as I found out, this asshole dropped my car off at NELCON which is ILLEGAL TO DO SO since he went on there private property and wasted one out of the four trips that I have with Triple A. (Now I have to call corporate tmmr to make sure they were not paid for that one trip and that one trip this asshole took with my car only for like 5 miles doesn't count on my record). Thankfully with the help of the lady (I forgot her name) and a gentleman that was there, they were just as confused and I was as to why my car was being dropped at the service center instead of it going back to my house. I explained to them what had happened and they told me normally they didn't do this but due to my situation they were going to help me out. It was like a breath of fresh air dealing with the NELCON staff it showed that they actually cared and wanted to help out. They went to call AAA on there end to let them get the job now to take me back and I didn't know this but the towing Industry is worse then high school with the drama when it comes to situations like this, since NELCON told me this wasn't the first time LOMBARD did this to them. AAA said that SAM the lady I was talking to put in the record to drop the vehicle off at NELCON which was complete utter bullshit since I don't even know where NELCON was. Al”

“Fast delivery and friendly staff on the phone. Also they recommended the Chandler air systems company for the furnace issue that I had at my house and they were great too. Thank you guys.”

“Would have been 5 stars except the pump cuts you off at $75. Those of us with larger tanks only get about 3/4 tank. Wouldn't it make better business sense to increase your limit to $100? When the pump cuts me off, I close the cap and drive away; you could be making $100 off of me instead of $75... just saying.”

“I stopped at this Mobil to refuel my work van. Prices here are very reasonable, especially when you take into consideration that this is a Mobil. The receipt printed out at the pump, which I always expect when I am paying at the pump. There is a convenience store here as well and a large diesel filling station on the adjacent lot, so if you need to fill a big truck, this place is for you. I would like it more if they had the hand sanitizer, but it appears to me that Mobil has done away with this healthy resource at all it's stations. I don't mind it so much with this location because of the lower than Mobil average prices.”

“Roadside service station, the gas prices were still up. My X5 uses the highest level of gas (93) so to full it back up was something. But that Service station is very friendly, and they treat their customers with respect. The experience was great.”

“Actually, I like driving on M-15 Wilbur Cross Parkway, and like all these small rest stops along it. Though, during pandemic, when I was traveling on it back and forth very often, and there was just a tiny fraction of traffic, it was fantastic, even relaxing to drive. Now not so much, too much traffic, but still goes fast. But definitely good and calming rest stops, wish there were more along the route...”

“My sister n law told me this gas station was on a whole other level, but I needed to investigate my self. I pumped my gas and out popped a ticket for a FREE breakfast sandwich. Excellent marketing strategy as most of us pump and run. I went into a very chic eatery. Cooks making food to order. Fresh sandiches on good bread with avacado and slivered onions. Can we say upscale sandwich and salad stations? I was truly blown away by the cleanliness, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. Breakfast sandwich with meat about $6.50. Sandwich with avacado $9.00 I will definitely be back.”

“GAS FOR $3.29!!!! Got off here to head home the back way on Friday 9/23 I couldn't believe the price had to stop! Cost me less than $20 to get a quarter of a tank so glad they was traffic on I-91 & I passed by pulled over! BC by me @ Exxon it was about $0.10 more and I was going to have to pass where I live to get it and come back and this was a happy accident. Same price for cash, debit, credit.”

“always have the lowest prices for a top tier fuel. The guy attending has a good attitude. The only bad thing I noticed was the courtesy windshield Squeegees are so old that the rubber has a weird shape and does not wipe at all”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We were broken down on the side of I95 and Untouchable Towing came and evaluated towing our 43' Class A MotorCoach. The team was efficient, professional, and even though it was very late into the night, they carried on like this was not a problem. We were towed to Nelson Service Center (did I mention the owner was also right there with us?!). We arrived after 1am. They were under our coach evaluating our breakdown firs thing in the morning-and the part was ordered by 7am!! It is now noon, and we are safely on our way. UNBELIEVABLE and EXCEEDED our expectations. Fair pricing, immaculate workshop, and all around GREAT experience, and the best outcome we could have imagined.”

“The store is always clean and well lit. Coffee is fresh and well stocked. All of the employees are very nice. Has a diesel pump away from the gas pumps for trucks to use. Not a ton of parking but it doesn't really seem to be a problem.”

“Nice little spot. I was greeted upon entrance. Seemed pretty busy this was a bit after 5pm though, so probably a popular spot before heading home for most in the area is very close to Amazon warehouse and BigY as well. I stopped there to get scratch offs and lotto. I read they had some winners recently. Seemed week m well stocked in snacks, drinks and basics. Plenty of parking. Spacious area for coming in and out at the gas pumps. Handicap spot as well. Easy on and off Washington ave.”

“The parkway was backed up and Google took me on back roads. Came across this station as my gas light was on! Nice station. Ther pump I went to had a note to go inside to pay. That was fine for me bc I always go inside anyway. Not only for security reasons but so I can give y'all a thorough review! The guy behind register was nice friendly and patient as I walked around looking for snacks. Some kids came in and were doing the same. They have a great variety of food and drinks and other items one may look for in a local corner store/station. Hot coffee area as well. The place was clean, well lit. I didn't see an air machine, I normally look for those, but there was a big vehicle parked by side of building that I couldn't see what it may have been blocking. All in all a cool little store this neighborhood has.”

“This spot is the one I like best. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The crew is very receptive and the cooking they place on your table is so appetizing. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice meal in this place. I highly recommend this place.”

“Always great customer service. In so the years I've patronized this station, I've neve had any issues with staff. They are friendly, personable, and treat everyone good. You cab get lotto here, snacks, drinks, car stuff like oil, air fresheners. Also can find some basic shelf groceries, like chef boyardi , soups. You can buy ice here, also. They have coffee and Danish, or hard rolls with butter for morning nosh. You can put air in your tire. I saw a sign for vacuum but I'm not sure they actually have one. Maybe they used to. Gas prices are comparable. It's easy on and off either Sackett point road or Quinnipiac rd. Plenty of parking space for running in.”

“I used to love this place! Something happened recently and they have fallen off. Bad. One young girl comes off a little stand offish but she's super cool. Very helpful. Working customer service is brutal so I get "having your guard up". Then the little lady with the short hair and the visor is a sweetie too!Otherwise now this place is always a mess. Used to have all the coffee stuff stocked and clean. Now it's a mess. Half the machines are out of order, they seem under staffed and over worked.Ladies bathroom one soap dispenser works but the sink it sits over doesn't work so you have to bounce around from soap to sink. Super weird when someone else is there too then you're like criss crossing but you gotta wait for the one sink that works. Ridiculous.”

“always a wait, but not too long. it's near where i work so i have 3 opportunities to check (am, lunch and pm!). the gas prices are great and lower than anywhere else. it's what convinced me to get a membership. the station is well lighted, attended to and in good condition. i feel safer at this station than any other ones.”
