“My 2 night stay in December 2023 was a good one. While the property is showing its age, they were beginning a property-wide remodel on the day I checked out. Upon arrival, the doorman and the front desk were courteous and helpful. As a Hyatt Globalist, I was upgrade to a suite, which was huge. The room was somewhat dated but clean and in good shape. Based on the remodel projection pictures, this hotel will be fantastic once the remodel is complete. I'd stay here again, even before the remodel. It'll be 5 stars once remodel is complete.”

“Great location if you are looking to stay near Stamford or Greenwich. The room was nice, we booked a king bed but they gave us a double. The entire middle room/lobby is under construction and we still paid full price. Would love to come back when the construction is complete. Our stay was definitely overpriced but would stay again when the construction is finished.”

“We stayed just one night on the way to MA. They gave us a tiny room with really bad situation. WE were with a baby, so very uncofortable. Price same as the rest though! On our way back home we looked for another hotel..”

“High-tech luxury rooms that included:Electronic blackout blinds, TV set within mirrors (both in the main room and the bathroom), runner lights for the bed, room privacy indicator lights for the hallway instead of the doorknob hanger. The restaurant within the hotel (Tony's) was fantastic! Great food and drinks, and the impromptu trivia by the legend himself (Tony) was fantastic!”

“My daughter and I just returned from a stay at the Even Hotel in Norwalk and we were so happy with our time there. Jose greeted us professionally, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location in relation to places to eat and the interstate was perfect. My daughter’s favorite things were the in room yoga ball and mat, well appointed fitness room, and water bottle refill stations. I found the price to be a great value (there was no free breakfast, but most hotels in the area that I checked didn’t seem to offer one either). There was a breakfast that was offered for $15.99 per person. We will return to another Even Hotel when we get the opportunity! We had a very positive experience!”

“This hotel saved us twice from bad experiences and we are really grateful. Shout out to the front desk agent working the evening on 12/29, I didn’t get her name but she was awesome. We arrived at this hotel on short notice after canceling a booking due to the room being gross in a hotel down the street. Unfortunately we were placed on a floor with a high school swim team who were being a high school swim team - it was loud. We were going to a funeral the next day and needed some rest so we called down and got moved with no fuss to a quiet floor. The rest of our stay was great. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds, you can’t ask for more really. Thank you Marriott and the desk agent that saved us.”

“This place is beautiful ? . We went for breakfast on a Tuesday and enjoyed ourselves. The service from 1875/ Ramdas was superb! He was personable but NOT in a weird OR annoying way. Ramdas was very detailed oriented and accommodating. However, the 4 stars were given because the steak was gross. I want to be clear that it was the steak ordered from the breakfast menu. I ordered medium rare, and it still came out hard. The steak literally tasted like it was pre-cooked, placed in a refrigerator, and then reheated in a microwave ? I didn't take a pic, hoping it was a one-off thing! I will try again before I leave the hotel to see if it's better. If so, I will update this post.”

“I booked a room at this hotel with points. Due to flight issues and lost baggage I needed to cancel but couldn’t do so due to fighting travel issues until 4:45 day of arrival. When I called Hilton they refused to allow me to cancel either charging me for the night or taking my pointsI’ve been a Hilton Honors member for over 20 years and now feel like I’d rather stay at Motel 6 than deal with a chain that doesn’t care about its customers.Shame on youUPDATE:After the feedback saying I could contact the hotel directly I called. They were very helpful in resolving the issue and returning my Hilton points. Seems there had been a miscommunication. Thank you to the individuals that assisted with this. I definitely feel like a valued customer. It makes a big difference.”

“I stayed at the Stamford Hotel two separate nights during my recent trip back to Connecticut to see family. I stayed in the accessible room with a walk-in shower. I used the mini fridge, which is hidden under the big television. A microwave would've been nice, but I don't think that they have accessible rooms with them. The little convenience store in the lobby came in handy. They sell protein bars, cold brew coffee, candy, and travel-sized toiletries. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the food smelled good. They do not have room service, for which I'm deducting a star. I ordered delivery via an app so that I could chill in my room in my pajamas while eating. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. The view from my room was epic. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I slept well.”

“For a one night stay it is bearable. Other than that I think the hotel rooms are completely disgusting. A huge cockroach and Im talking huge crawled on to my pillow while I was sitting in bed, i screamed and ran across the room and my partner grabbed it with a plastic bag and threw it outside. the next morning I cut out of there as quickly as I could. The beds are uncomfortable, the bathtub had hair still left in it, the curtains had mold on the bottom, and the carpet on the floor was moist. It is definitely not worth the price you’re paying, super 8 is so much better than this place if you’re looking for an affordable hotel in Stamford.”
