“A couple of years ago I was in need of a storage unit and remembered driving by the Ace Self Storage sign at the corner of Oak Street & Gavitt Avenue in Westerly. I called ahead of time and the owner Keith was very polite and efficient over the phone so I headed over to check it out. Keith greeted me and we wound up talking quite a bit about a variety of subjects. It was relaxing and I could tell this was a business that really invested in the customers by presenting very clean units in a safe and secure location. I appreciated the security cameras, large access gate and space between the buildings which made it easy to drive around with a trailer including the safety bollards that were clearly placed. I just moved out this weekend and want to give the strongest recommendation that, if you are in need of a storage unit, you head over to Ace Self Storage and let them treat you like guests while providing you with the protection you need for your personal treasures. Continued Success to Keith and his Team!”

“There is a disconnect from the call center (customer service center) to the on site manager. The layout of the entrance and exit of the facility was poorly thought out. I few simple changes would make entering and exiting the facility more friendly to all. I have been parking trailers over 40 foot for over 20 years. The lot sizes need to be reviewed and/or repainted, and the trees/brush need to be trimmed down. The indoor facilities appeared in good condition, but we did not purchase because the outdoor trailer lot that we purchased did not fit our needs.”

We rented one of the 10x10 climate-controlled units—perfect for storing sensitive items like electronics, documents, or furniture without worrying about heat or humidity. The temperature inside always felt stable and comfortable.
Additionally, keypad access gave an added layer of security and protection. The staff was nothing but friendly, helpful, and professional, always available to answer questions or assist with any needs.
Overall, this facility is extremely well run, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, secure, and clean storage environment. Definitely worth the investment!”
