“This is objectively the best value hotel in the entire Greater Danbury area. Ive stayed at most of them and only Days Inn by Wyndham Ridgefield offers consistently respectful/quiet neighbors, 24/7 front desk service by a chill and kind manager, and apartment style rooms for sometimes as low as $65. Lol cant beat that.

This is not a ghetto or rundown place just because its cheap. Dont be fooled by the price—it’s significantly lower than the most booked places in Danbury because it isnt in Danbury lol. You are paying for location and complimentary breakfast alone at all of the many hotels in central Danbury.”

“We highly recommend Heidi’s Inn. The rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They offer a variety of accommodations, including efficiency units with kitchenettes as well as connecting rooms, making them a great choice for couples, families, and extended stays.

The property itself is beautifully cared for, with well-kept grounds that create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Each morning, guests can enjoy a delightful complimentary breakfast featuring fresh muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal, hot coffee, tea, and juices. “we enjoyed a stay here for one night only. on our way to an event upstate and it was the perfect stop from the White Plains airport 20 min away. We were lucky to get to the hotel in time for drinks and dinner. Bedford Post was busy with locals dining on a Thursday night. The weather was great, so all of the outside tables were full. There isn't a best table here. They're all good. Inside and out and the bar room. Food was fantastic and so were drinks. Our room came equipped with everything we needed. Water and snacks were fun. Bathroom was luxury all around. Room, although a bit small, was comfy for one night. I love that they have fresh flowers everywhere you turn.
Breakfast was glorious with just the right selections too.
All in all, I would return for sure. would rate Five stars if the room rate comes down a notch. Seems a bit overpriced for area and for those who want to stay at least 3 nights.”

On the top in the evening they have a hot chocolate, fruits and cookies counter.”

“We decided to celebrate our 57th Valentine's Day together at dinner at the Roger Sherman. The decorations and ambience were tasteful and elegant. The service was attentive, friendly and professional. The food was simply amazing: escargot for appetizer and duck for the main - both just perfection. Overall, a delightful experience for a special evening, and we will certainly be back!”

THIS PLACE.

The demeanor of the staff who greeted us at the check-in desk treated us like we'd paid for a specialty stay at a resort.
Our room felt SPACIOUS and comfortable and meticulously kept.
But the real kicker was how helpful and supportive the staff here was when, on the day I was supposed to check out, I had an accident on my bike and broke my wrist.

There were three of us for this stay, on a bike trip from near Yonkers all the way to Burlington, VT.
Bikes can be awkward and difficult, and they were very patient letting us linger indefinitely, well past checkout, in the lobby, and then, when it wasn't possible for me to bring my bike home that day, they even offered to keep it safe in their offices overnight.

The crew here really had my back when it mattered, experience shows me the people are are people you can count on.
I'm thrilled to be able to write this review.

You have the option to choose a room that’s away from the train tracks, an option provided to me from the very beginning, which I appreciated.

The hotel has beautiful views of the Norwalk River, especially in the lobby.

If I had anything to complain about, it would be the very expensive breakfast that would be basically free at other hotels.

“stayed here for a week and a few days and it was reallly amazing i’m really hard times, we bad a kitchen, two bedrooms and a living room in the middle it was perfect!! They have breakfast every morning & the customer service desk is wonderful as well as the rest of the staff!! They are very friendly and hard working people! They made what me and my family are going through feel less hard and more hopeful. i will forever be grateful to have stayed here and wish i could have stayed longer. Thank you!”

“Okay I’ll give the real spill on this place, not a hateful or generic review. I had to be in the area for work(I stayed for two weeks, Danbury isn’t that exciting to be here for leisure sadly) and tbh this option is the best for the price. There’s some decent food down the street and it’s walking distance from a stop n shop.

This place is NOT luxury but it’s decent for how cheap it is (as in it’s not dirty and it’s spacious). I’m pretty high maintenance/bougie so like I said in my opinion it’s manageable.
I must say I thank Dominic for assisting me and my co-worker during our stay making us comfortable. He assisted us on multiple occasions and If not for him, I probably would’ve not stayed a second week. He even recommended food places! Other staff were pretty easy going for the most part but he just stood out. Majority of the reviews you’ll see are either people are sticklers or people who had anomaly situations. In reality, everyone here is calm and it’s just a decent place to rest your head.”

“Stayed there for a weekend and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was clean and during the time my family and I stayed there was a father/daughter event going on. They looked to be in their early teens and looked like little princesses. There were white robes with white slippers included in our stay. Nice scenery as it had snowed and was snowing our whole week there. If I had to rate Ethan Allen’s Hotel between 1 - 10 with 10 being the best. I would rate them a solid 10. If I could up that rate, I would. Definitely returning for another stay.”
