“I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to Alvana and Jenn, who assisted my son at the West Hartford Quest office located at 970 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, Connecticut, on May 18th. My son has profound autism and is nonverbal. He is extremely fearful of needles and blood tests have always been a huge challenge.
On the morning of May 18th, we visited the Quest office at the West Hartford center. Initially, my son was very anxious and uncooperative. Alvana and Jenn were incredibly patient and understanding. They took the time to calm him down and did everything possible to make him feel comfortable. Thanks to their compassion and professional expertise, they successfully completed my son's blood work.

“I just left Quest in newington and I had to get a good amount of bloodwork done . I knew I should’ve asked his name but the man who took my blood ….. he was absolutely amazing. He talked with me through everything, made sure I was okay before leaving and i mean he was just genuinely so nice. You know getting blood work done isn’t the prettiest or most comfortable thing to have done but he made sure it went as smoothly as possible. Thank you for your kind words and for actually caring. The world needs more people like this . (I know it’s just blood work, but you never know the kind of day someone is having . Be mindful !)”

“I went to this location a couple days ago and was very happy with the service. My appointment was for 9:30am but I was early and there was an opening for 9:15, so I was able to change it to that when I was checking in. I think I was taken in right at 9:15, so there was barely any wait time. I was a little worried at first because my order was a bit complicated, and the last phlebotomist I saw gave me the impression that she wasn't confident in what she was doing. This time, I had a different phlebotomist (Liana) and she was kind, patient, and competent. Despite my complicated order of tests, she still worked quickly but carefully. She was also able to find a vein quickly, which I appreciated because usually other phlebotomists and nurses have trouble with this due to my difficult veins and a lot of scar tissue. Overall I would recommend going to this location, especially if Liana is there.”
“Using the Connecticut Boulevard East Hartford office was perfect; I see no reason for those of us from East Hartford to travel to the Glastonbury office, which (for me at least, zip code 06118) is so much farther. The staff in East Hartford was professional & skilled. I'd certainly use that office were I to need other bloodwork!”

“Well first of all my husband and I has an appointment on Saturday May 11, we got there and computer was offline. Bummer. We've checked in via the text message that was a waste of time. If the system were down I would assume that it will notify us but I guess not. So we decided to go Quest Meriden. Same thing.
So we made another appointment for Monday. Everything goes as planned. Hubby went in first then me. I did not get the phoblotomis name but she was nice and seems professional. Although she did poke me twice one on my left arm and second on my right arm. She couldn't find the veins on the left it was quite uncomfortable because I can feel the needle goes left right like she was looking for the veins hmmm. I never had this problem before on both arms so SUS”
