“I have been training with coach Andreas one-on-one since 2014. When I was pregnant a few years ago my doctor cleared me to continue my training, and Andreas and Deb modified my workout accordingly at each stage of my pregnancy. I was able to continue training up to my due date, which made it so much easier to get back into training once the doctor released me after delivery. My strength goals are always a priority here, and my concerns are always considered when designing my workouts.”

“Orangetheory Danbury East is hands down the best studio around. I travel a lot for work, so I visit other studios regularly (and they are great too!). The coaches at OTF Danbury East are incredible: supportive, motivating, and genuinely invested in everyone, no matter where you are in your fitness journey. I tend to use my workouts as solo time to recharge, but they still make me smile and laugh. I always feel welcomed, energized, and part of the OTF family. The positive energy in this studio is unmatched, and it makes me look forward to every class. Highly recommend to anyone considering giving OTF a try—you won’t find a better team than this one.”
“I trained w/ Brian from last May 2022 thru early 2023. Not only was he great to work with, he is encouraging, knowledgeable, funny and straightforward. He makes training/working out fun and worthwhile. I learned a lot and continue to put into practice what he taught me (from what I can remember). He would fit me into his schedule 9/10 times, even on short notice. If he couldn't, I would go to PF or take a night off. The only reason I stopped going was a financial one. When I started, I was in a better financial position. But as time went on, my situation changed. He and Joni were very accommodating and understanding of my situation. I'm hoping to continue with Brian in the near future once my situation changes. I have a trip planned for March 2023 that I need to be in shape for. I highly recommend Body Physics.”

“I've tried everything over the last 10 years to get in shape. All the cheap chain gyms, smaller gyms, working out by myself, working out at home, spin classes, Zumba, boot camps, personal trainers. Strongtown is the only place so far that I feel a different type of motivation and am quickly seeing results. The environment is fun and welcoming and the coaches take the time to ensure I learn proper form while also encouraging me to push my limits. I highly recommend :)”
“I thought the world was ending when my gym announced it was closing. I asked around, I went to several other gyms in the area and they were all really good, but when I went to CrossFit Bethel I found my new gym. It's a community led by a owner who is committed to the gym, the people and me, sounds crazy I know! I couldn't believe how much time and attention a gym owner put in the members, the coaches. On top of that - the gym is spotless every morning, every day. I have found my new home, you should come and check it out, I'll see you at the 5:30 class!”

“I started as a founders member June 2022, not really knowing what I was getting myself into, but knew I needed something to do for ME. I am not a gym person. I found out quickly how amazing the instructor led classes are. And how all the members have this unspoken bond. We push each other and reach our goals with each other's accountability. Thanks to all the coaches, but esp to Jason, the general manager, for somehow making you leave his classes bringing more motivation and positivity to your day. If you haven't tried a class reach out...first class is free!”
“I really like this place. As others have said it’s small but that means it doesn’t get super busy which is awesome. The owner Anthony is all around a nice guy - no pressure to sign a long contract and doesn’t hit you with absurd fees for everything. Location is also ideal if you ask me.”

“Great experience all around! The man who signed us up, who I can assume is the owner, was super helpful and offered great customer service. Every interaction we had with members and staff was pleasant. No one was rude or disrespectful like some of the other reviews suggest. We're also pleased with the 24/7 key fob access. The equipment selection is varied and caters to strength training of all kinds but definitely has more of an emphasis on bodybuilding and powerlifting. My kind of gym!”

“Fantastic new location replete with seated plate loaded calf raises, hack squat, and quite a few smith machines. More cardio machines than I’ve ever seen in a Planet Fitness, mainly treadmills. This is also one of the coolest gyms I’ve ever been in temperature wise.
Here’s the most interesting things about this location outside of equipment. One — there are no locker rooms! Instead there are about twenty private bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms. I much prefer this to the usual big box gym setup. There are also plenty of lockers lining the main gym floor walls which is great for keeping an eye on your things. The second admittedly more novel feature of this location is that there are vending machines! Protein shakes from Muscle Milk, bars (including Barebells, delicious), and cookies galore in those things, not to mention the waters and electrolyte drinks. I think they might even have preworkout!
The staff is friendly, the place is spotless, and the equipment is brand spanking new. What’s not to like?”

“Reading through the reviews I totally understand everyone's frustration. I've been a member for almost about a year and the first couple months were really rough. I felt like management was really unreceptive to any complaints; machines were very out of service and ignored.However, in the last couple months, they've gotten a new manager and the place has really changed for the better, they are new rules and requests about keeping the gym, clean and available for others to use such as a requirement to re-rack weights. Every time I walk in the manager is always listening to customer feedback and trying to improve the gym. I swear it seems like she knows every member and greets everyone with a friendly smile. She is buying new machines and keeping the place up-to-date. I can't wait to see how it keeps improving under her leadership. I know this place may have left a bad taste in your mouth before, but give it a second chance and you won't regret it.”

“I started personal training with Coach Ryan when I was in 7th grade up until I left for college last year. When I first started working with him I had big dreams to eventually play lacrosse in college and was able to share my goals, strengths, and weaknesses with him. He made sure with each session I was building confidence and pushing myself in ways I have yet before. Coach Ryan shortly became one of my biggest role models as we worked together each week. His sessions were a balance of strength training, mobility work, conditioning, stick work, and explosive work. There was never a time where I felt like I couldn't do something because Coach Ryan was always there cheering me on. Some days just as everyone else we can feel weak and sore, although when I came to work with him he made me feel like I was the strongest I had ever been regardless of how I felt that day. I made some of the best memories at Crossfit Hook'd as Coach Ryan made sure we were always having fun while pushing ourselves to the best of our abilities. I have grown immensely as a person ever since training with him and I don't think I could have ever played lacrosse in college especially at the division 1 level if it weren't for him. I was noticeably getting better as each week went by and working on my weaknesses which soon became my strengths. The whole staff at Crossfit Hook'd is amazing and probably the most friendliest group of coaches I have met. The energy in this gym is outstanding and I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get better at their sport, join a CrossFit community, and even reach their nutritional goals!!”
