“Unfortunately not a positive experience. I was given a room between two rooms being lived in and then noticed several rooms being apparently used for transitional housing. People loitering outside the rooms late at night talking loudly right outside my window. The snell of pot was so strong all evening and morning. Did not feel safe environment was very shady. Why the management puts travelors needing a good night sleep in the same area with the transitional housing rooms is crazy to me”

“A Wonderful Hotel. Quiet and Relaxing. Staff are 10 Star Professional. An inviting and comfortable stay. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with great customer service from a Southern Gentleman from Birmingham Alabama which was a great conversation considering my wife lived, worked and resided in Huntsville Alabama. Thank You Doubletree Bristol Connecticut not Bristol UK. I initially booked a room in Bristol UK not Connecticut and had to rebook upon arrival. Staff was gracious and patient. Great Experience. Our 2nd or 3rd stay. Love The Environment.”
“Very clean. I commented on this as soon as I entered the building. It's run by some younger people and I told them that the might want to run the vacuum in the halls since the rooms were so clean. The staff was incredible. For the type of customers we were as cousins who hadn't seen each other for 30 years, ir was great. Very small closet space though...”

“A good stay at HGI.
This is probably the best smelling hotel I've ever been in. My first thought was a lady with amazing perfume must have walked through the hallway 2 minutes before I did. Then I realized this must be a cleaner or air freshener. I don't know but it was amazing.
Clean and quiet room. Hallway smells nice. Will be my preferred hotel in the area now.”
“Dated property. Great staff makes up for it! Asked for linens to be replaced, housekeeping blew it off. Carlin got staff to get on it after hours! Recognized my Titanium Status and took great care of us. Staff at lounge in the evenings need to smile more, they all have nice smiles! Easy access to I 84 and State Route 8.”

“I stayed here for a few days and found it to be an incredibly comfortable and practical choice for a longer trip. The suite was very spacious, and having a full kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator made a huge difference, as I could easily store snacks and prepare quick meals. The room felt fresh and well-maintained, providing a quiet and relaxing environment that made it easy to get some rest. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was going well with my stay.”
“A good variety was provided daily for breakfast and coffee/tea available all day.
During my stay this week, streaming apps were not accessible and an ETA is not available. The hot water seems to come and go.
The adjacent restaurant serves great pizza.”
