    “This month I chose to go to Trader Joe’s and it was a great experience, but there is something that has bothered me that I have to tell everyone because I don’t know if it will affect our health. But as you can see from the picture, I bought some strawberries and I put them in hot oatmeal, and the color came off the strawberries so immediately I knew that they had some kind of red coloring on it because the oatmeal turned slightly pink Normal strawberries don’t do that! I’m not sure if food coloring has adverse effects on health, but I would think it does. I would prefer if Trader Joe’s would not color the strawberries or any food products anyone else that agrees with me please like this post thank you. Have a great holiday season!?”

    “Going to Stew Leonard's is like a shopping experience for me. The downside is I have to bypass all the great items I'd love to buy because I gain weight so easily. If you are a salad eater, please try their salads. Jordan's makes an absolutely delicious salad dressing sold there. The cooked garlic and herbs shrimp is good with it. It's sold separately. The yellow fin tuna in the seafood section is delicious. If you never had it, they'll gladly let you sample it. There are too many items to name that I really like. If you have the time, walk through every department! And don't forget to sample the apple cider and the freshly squeezed juice.”

Sarah, the florist, made exquisite centerpieces for a dinner party we hosted. The flowers were gorgeous, included roses, protea & beautiful greenery, and they held up for over a week after the event.     “I haven't visited this Deli, but felt nosthalgic and searched the street where I lived in my early childhood years in the late 60's to early 70's and this grocery store existed back then, with other owners, of course. I used to walk there (a block away) with our landlords sheep dog to run little errands for my Mom while she watched me down the street. Nice to see the store is still standing and productive! Sad to see the magestic home where we lived so run down and abandoned”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
