“I moved to Stamford in June and shortly thereafter started having temperature issues with my Durango. I had been going to the same mechanic for 20+years and was now in need of a new one. Honest mechanics are hard to come by but I read a bunch of reviews and the words honest and trustworthy were used a lot so I gave Tony a call and I was/am glad I did. As advertised he was honest, didn't try to take advantage of me or upsell me anything. He fixed my vehicle for a fair price and had it ready in a more than reasonable time.
Tony is now my first call for anything I may need regarding my vehicle. Honesty, integrity, good workmanship. Qualities that are rare nowadays. All here at Shoppan Auto Repair.
I couldn't possibly give Tony and his shop a higher recommendation.”

“It's the customer service that distinguishes Pray from any other mechanic/body shop I have ever visited. It's Ritz-Carlton level service. They were able to see my car quickly and and when a part I had provided didn't match perfectly, someone came across the street to the coffee shop I was waiting at to show me a picture to see if I wanted to continue with the job. They were very thorough in giving me my options, and when I decided not to continue with the job because of a defect in the part I had provided, there was no charge even though they had spent some time working on the car. I later retuned with a non-defective part for them to install and once again they were able to get me in quickly and competed the job perfectly, once again with incredible customer service. Pray was a class act all the way and I will definitely be using them for any body work I need in the future.”

“I cannot say enough great things about this auto shop. I was driving from Connecticut out to the Hamptons when my Mercedes broke down about 40 minutes from home. The owner Yarek assessed what was wrong with my vehicle and ordered the necessary part, however, it wasn’t due to arrive until the following day. Sensing how upset I was and anxious to get out to where I needed to be, Yarek drove me around to five separate car rental places all of which were out of cars to rent for that weekend. Yarek Must have driven me around for close to two hours. He finally took me back to his shop where I waited for my husband to pick me up. I think I must’ve been in his presence for five hours.! He fixed the car the following day when the part came in, and he was honest and extremely reasonable. He was one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met, and I can honestly say that this individual restored my faith in the goodness of humanity. I recommend this Shop without hesitation.”

“Back in April 2023 my car had a radiator leak from work. When I left work in the late evening, I had no antifreeze left in the car and it started to overheat. I was stranded on I95 south by exit 6 for the entire night waiting for a tow-truck to arrive and tow my car to Grand Prix. Finally in the am, a tow- truck arrived and brought to Grand Prix. Roger is very humble and fixed my car within a day. Very satisfied with his work and charged a fair price to do the work. Would definitely go back to him again. Thank you kindly.”
“I didn't believe other reviews about how quickly they were in and out, but it's true. Had a nail in a tire, brought it in on the temp spare, they patched the flat tire and put it back on, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and it was so cheap!”
“Hi I recently moved from White Plains New York to Stamford Connecticut. I am so happy I found Universal auto Sale and repair Miguel is amazing and always works with me I have three cars and he worked on all three I have a BMW and Mercedes and the Chrysler Pacifica and I will recommend this place to everybody. I recently took my car to MIDAS and I was told that I need a starter a battery a serpentine belt and the engine mouth. Gave me a ridiculous price of almost $3000. I want to Universal auto sales and repairs Carmelo diagnosed the car called me and told me that all I needed was my starter and the motor mounts and he recommends a tuneup. Never will I ever go to any other place I strongly recommend save some money and go to Universal auto sales and repair and ask for Carmelo!!”

“Recently broke down and was stranded on the side of the road in Trumbull, Connecticut and needed to get back to Hartford. I called Greenwich towing and was able to get a truck out to me as fast as they could the driver Danny Was exceptional and really down to earth he even offered to get me something from Home Depot to drink as he ran in to get another strap to tie down my vehicle. We had an hour ride back to Hartford, which seem like it flew by. I highly recommend Greenwich towing to any and everyone in need of their services. I only gave them five stars because that’s all that was available. If there was an option to add more I would.”

“I have been bringing my foreign and domestic cars to Joe and Mario D'Agostino's place for 30+ years and only have great things to say about them. As stated in another review Joe is extremely well-trained and skilled at diagnostics and auto repair. Although they are foremost BMW and Audi experts, they can easily handle any make/model. They love working on Italian cars, btw. Agree that they are a hidden gem for auto repair! They are very, very trustworthy; repair estimates and costs are always very fair, if not under the market. I love these guys and recommend them highly. We own 5 cars and they service all of them (Toyota, Honda (2), Fiat, Subaru...Volvo and Ford in the past). You will not be disappointed. I would give them 6 stars if it were possible!”
“Car was placed into service on the slow side. I was able to walk to coffee place 3 blocks away and back in the rain, before my car was moved into service. The service agent Laurie was great, and kept me in good spirts while I waited.”
“These guys were done with 4 tire replacements in 30 minutes (usually it's 2+ hours at the national shops). Very fairly priced (half the cost of town fair for installation) and it doesnt hurt that they were actually pleasant, which is not the norm at any tire shop. 10/10 would recommend.”
