1013 Hope St, StamfordFor all looking for an ethical fish store this is the one. They truly care about the animals and what homes they are going to. Under the new ownership you can even see pictures of the nitrogen cycle at the cash register for people who may not be informed of cycling the tank before getting fish. I have always gone to this location due to convenience, while before it wasn’t to much better than petco or petsmart to me, this new management truly cares about the animals and the customer and it shows. The fresh water plant selection is the best your gonna get, for in store pickup plants. The fish selection grows each week as the store expands! Not only that but they have put in a filtration system for the betta’s which is heart warming for a person who is a big believer in the 5 gal min, heater, and good filtration. They give honest advice that clearly comes from experience and don’t just try to just sell you fish. Their fish food is great quality as well. None of the items are overpriced and honestly the most affordable for miles! This is a must stop fish store coming from someone with 3 fresh and 1 salt tank!

I own a rescue chow chow, Teddy, who can be difficult to handle for grooming but The Dog Man Shop has done such a great job making him as comfortable as possible. Their deshedding treatment helped to thin out Teddy’s thick undercoat and has made him so much more comfortable in the summer heat. I highly recommend their services to anyone that may have an anxious dog. They take such wonderful care of our pooch, I am so grateful for their services!

868 High Ridge Rd, StamfordWe have had our dog seen here since we adopted her in 2017. Very happy with her care and process of getting appointments. Most recently had our dog see Dr. Callahan for her annual checkup. He was very thorough in her annual exam and explained the process in detail. Much more information than your standard human annual physical! Finding a good vet practice is difficult and I highly recommend Dr. Callahan and the High Ridge practice for other pet owners.

It wasn’t about just training the dogs but training the owners as well. We were required to train with our dogs throughout their stay. Both Scott and Steve were amazing both with our dogs and training us as well. You can tell they care deeply about what they do and treat each dog with the love and respect they deserve. They came highly recommended and am glad I listened. They have been home for less than a week and we have already noticed a big difference.

Room for Paws Pet Resort
72 Camp Ave, StamfordWe absolutely love Room for Paws and can’t recommend them enough! Our black lab Skye has been going there since she was just 4 months old, and now at 9 months, they have truly been such a huge part of her puppyhood.
She started with their Puppy Preschool program, which was amazing for both her training and socialization, and then continued going to daycare twice a week after she finished the program. She absolutely LOVES it there. She sprints to the door as soon as we arrive and always comes home happy, exhausted, and clearly having had the best day. She has made so many friends there, both dog and human!
I am admittedly a very anxious pet parent and Skye is my whole world, so it means a lot when I say that I trust the Room for Paws team completely. You can tell how much every single employee genuinely loves the dogs and cares for them as if they were their own. Knowing Skye is somewhere she is happy, safe, loved, and so well cared for has been invaluable to us.
We’ve also boarded her with them a few times and have had her bathed there, and every experience has been wonderful.
We’re moving farther away and are genuinely so sad that Skye won’t be able to go twice a week anymore. Room for Paws has become such a special place for her and for us. We absolutely plan to bring her back whenever we can, especially for boarding, because they are truly the people we trust most with our girl.
Thank you to everyone at Room for Paws for loving Skye so much and for helping her grow into the happy, social, confident dog she is today. ❤

I have been looking for a local spot with a great selection of beer where I can watch sports and hang with family and dogs. This is it and more. The bonus is the hospitality that Gray and Roger offer. Plus, you can order in food or enjoy the onsite freebies - hot dogs with all the fix'ins were on offer when we were there. We enjoyed the OJ IPA (straight down the middle - not too hazy with the right level of bitterness), and you cannot go wrong with the Gose, Hefeweizen and Golden Ratio lager. The BA Stout was on tap as well, and for a 14.6%, it was very drinkable without any adjuncts.

They asked if I wanted beans and I'm glad they did, the red peppers, the sausage, egg and cheese, black beams the avacado and chipotle mayo all went together so harmonious in my mouth I will definitely be eating that again! Cute little nook you can call a hidden gem! plus they leave the yolk a little runny the way it should be ! Messiness did not bother me one bit !

As a Senior Facilities Office Manager overseeing staff across three office locations Connecticut, Los Angeles, and New York I understand the importance of exceptional service and a well trained team. The Beer Garden consistently delivers both.
From the moment I book an event whether it's one of my assistants coordinating with Jessica, which we've done several times over the past few years or when I'm simply stopping by for drinks with family and friends, the experience is always outstanding.
When you arrive, you're welcomed by the manager, Adam, who is truly terrific. He leads an exceptional team, including Rich, Rich, Emee, Sky, Dillon, Grady and Ainsley, along with many others who consistently go above and beyond to make sure every visit is enjoyable. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the service is attentive, the vibes are great, and the drinks are always on point.
Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends or a venue to host a special event, I highly recommend the Beer Garden. Their commitment to hospitality and creating a memorable experience is second to none!
