1013 Hope St, StamfordFor all looking for an ethical fish store this is the one. They truly care about the animals and what homes they are going to. Under the new ownership you can even see pictures of the nitrogen cycle at the cash register for people who may not be informed of cycling the tank before getting fish. I have always gone to this location due to convenience, while before it wasn’t to much better than petco or petsmart to me, this new management truly cares about the animals and the customer and it shows. The fresh water plant selection is the best your gonna get, for in store pickup plants. The fish selection grows each week as the store expands! Not only that but they have put in a filtration system for the betta’s which is heart warming for a person who is a big believer in the 5 gal min, heater, and good filtration. They give honest advice that clearly comes from experience and don’t just try to just sell you fish. Their fish food is great quality as well. None of the items are overpriced and honestly the most affordable for miles! This is a must stop fish store coming from someone with 3 fresh and 1 salt tank!

As a first-time dog owner, I was extremely nervous when my dog was recently diagnosed with an illness. I had so many questions and honestly felt overwhelmed. I called the store and spoke with a very nice young lady by the name of Stephanie J. Who gave us an appointment. However after going to the store and speaking with the veterinarian Dr. Allen and his staff Stephanie J, I left feeling completely reassured and well informed. They took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, answered all of my concerns with patience, and made sure I knew exactly what steps to take moving forward.
I truly appreciated the compassion, professionalism, and kindness shown by both the veterinarian and the staff throughout the visit. Because of their care and clear communication, I walked out feeling much more confident about my dog’s treatment and overall health. I’m very grateful for the support and would highly recommend this veterinary team—especially for new pet owners like myself. And the price was even better than I anticipated.

327 Greenwich Ave, StamfordWoof to Purrfection is the best groomer! I take my mini dachshund Hank here for regular bathing/grooming services and they always do an awesome job at a reasonable price! Besides from doing a fantastic job, I really appreciate how quick and communicative they are! They send you a text about 20 minutes before they’re completed so you can pick your pet up right as they finish and you don’t have to worry about your pet waiting around in a cage or anything, which I love. Hank is a little shy but he always has a big smile when he comes home from the Groomer’s (and he smells and looks amazing)! Another bonus is the really adorable bandanas he gets everytime!

The Dog Man Shop & Grooming Salon
69 High Ridge Rd, StamfordMario and crew are phenomenal. I really appreciate the calm environment at the shop! The door remains closed and there’s rarely another dog in there. My dog has gone to a previous shop where it was a mad house and took three hours for a groom whereas Mario takes half the time and provides exactly what I was asking for. Also, they are so communicative!

Most recently had our dog see Dr. Callahan for her annual checkup. He was very thorough in her annual exam and explained the process in detail. Much more information than your standard human annual physical! Finding a good vet practice is difficult and I highly recommend Dr. Callahan and the High Ridge practice for other pet owners.

My dogs had been part of this place since the very beginning, and it’s been incredible to watch how much Wagmore has grown while still keeping the same level of care, love, and attention to every dog. The staff has is always attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the dogs’ well-being.

Being able to go on vacation and feel confident about his well-being while I’m away is such a relief — and the puppy cams are an amazing bonus!
I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Mo, who’s incredibly attentive, professional, and patient with Blue. He’s the only one who can successfully cut Blue’s nails, and his calm presence makes Dogtopia feel safe. Mo is a big reason we continue to go there.

“Taco truck” doesn’t do it justice. It’s just incredible food, plain and simple.
I’ve been coming here after indoor soccer every Tuesday the past few weeks, and it hasn’t missed once.
Steak tacos, perfectly seasoned.
Shrimp tacos, next level.

If you’re anywhere close to the Walgreens by the Taco Bell on east main, you should come here. They’re open late after night games at like 10:30 too.

I have been looking for a local spot with a great selection of beer where I can watch sports and hang with family and dogs. This is it and more. The bonus is the hospitality that Gray and Roger offer. Plus, you can order in food or enjoy the onsite freebies - hot dogs with all the fix'ins were on offer when we were there. We enjoyed the OJ IPA (straight down the middle - not too hazy with the right level of bitterness), and you cannot go wrong with the Gose, Hefeweizen and Golden Ratio lager. The BA Stout was on tap as well, and for a 14.6%, it was very drinkable without any adjuncts.

I like the Alambrado carne. The steak is juicy with sauteed onions. Their meals are always generously portioned. I've eaten at other Mexican food trucks and they don't compare. Folks at Don Tonio are super nice too. Always kind and courteous.

2777 Summer St, StamfordStopped in for the torta breakfast sandwich and boy was I blown away! served on a slightly bigger breakfast roll, however the flavors are vibrant compared to some Mexican tortas, it stood out. They asked if I wanted beans and I'm glad they did, the red peppers, the sausage, egg and cheese, black beams the avacado and chipotle mayo all went together so harmonious in my mouth I will definitely be eating that again! Cute little nook you can call a hidden gem! plus they leave the yolk a little runny the way it should be ! Messiness did not bother me one bit !

I spilt a beer and within 1 minute the staff came to me with a new pint and cleaned everything up. 100% recommend, great vibes and beer. the only thing I would say is the nachos we got had parchment paper at the bottom and half the nachos were inedible due to the paper being stuck to them. doesn’t matter still 10/10 experience
