Every time that I’ve been there I have had an excellent experience: Outstanding customer service, helpful, polite, caring towards my pups, all my questions answered, and they take time to help me find all the products that I’m looking for. If a product is not at the store they will order it.And so my last visit was no difference! I had the pleasure of meeting Gabriella who is absolutely amazing and has truly has EXCEPTIONAL customer service skills! ? I’m very thankful that she took time to help me with my purchase and find all the things that I needed. I truly had an excellent experience from beginning to end as Gabriella truly went above and beyond and went the extra mile for me! Thank You! ☺️

The Fish Bowl
1013 Hope St, StamfordFor all looking for an ethical fish store this is the one. They truly care about the animals and what homes they are going to. Under the new ownership you can even see pictures of the nitrogen cycle at the cash register for people who may not be informed of cycling the tank before getting fish. I have always gone to this location due to convenience, while before it wasn’t to much better than petco or petsmart to me, this new management truly cares about the animals and the customer and it shows. The fresh water plant selection is the best your gonna get, for in store pickup plants. The fish selection grows each week as the store expands! Not only that but they have put in a filtration system for the betta’s which is heart warming for a person who is a big believer in the 5 gal min, heater, and good filtration. They give honest advice that clearly comes from experience and don’t just try to just sell you fish. Their fish food is great quality as well. None of the items are overpriced and honestly the most affordable for miles! This is a must stop fish store coming from someone with 3 fresh and 1 salt tank!

As a first-time dog owner, I was extremely nervous when my dog was recently diagnosed with an illness. I had so many questions and honestly felt overwhelmed. I called the store and spoke with a very nice young lady by the name of Stephanie J. Who gave us an appointment. However after going to the store and speaking with the veterinarian Dr. Allen and his staff Stephanie J, I left feeling completely reassured and well informed. They took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, answered all of my concerns with patience, and made sure I knew exactly what steps to take moving forward.
I truly appreciated the compassion, professionalism, and kindness shown by both the veterinarian and the staff throughout the visit. Because of their care and clear communication, I walked out feeling much more confident about my dog’s treatment and overall health. I’m very grateful for the support and would highly recommend this veterinary team—especially for new pet owners like myself. And the price was even better than I anticipated.

Mario took amazing care of my dog. The space is completely open, you can see your dog the entire time, nothing is hidden behind glass or closed doors, which made me feel so comfortable and reassured. He was incredibly gentle, and it was very clear he has years of experience.

My increasingly lethargic Tibetan Terrier collapsed at a road stop while we were on a trip from Pittsburgh to Maine. Spot on took us right away, and although the outcome wasn't what I wished for, I was met with clinical expertise and compassion. All of this happened to me on my very first visit. Dr. Putter and his staff will always be etched in my memory as the angels who helped me withstand the incredible pain of letting go of my precious Henry Rinpoche.

My dogs had been part of this place since the very beginning, and it’s been incredible to watch how much Wagmore has grown while still keeping the same level of care, love, and attention to every dog. The staff has is always attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the dogs’ well-being.

Being able to go on vacation and feel confident about his well-being while I’m away is such a relief — and the puppy cams are an amazing bonus!
I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Mo, who’s incredibly attentive, professional, and patient with Blue. He’s the only one who can successfully cut Blue’s nails, and his calm presence makes Dogtopia feel safe. Mo is a big reason we continue to go there.

They asked if I wanted beans and I'm glad they did, the red peppers, the sausage, egg and cheese, black beams the avacado and chipotle mayo all went together so harmonious in my mouth I will definitely be eating that again! Cute little nook you can call a hidden gem! plus they leave the yolk a little runny the way it should be ! Messiness did not bother me one bit !

I spilt a beer and within 1 minute the staff came to me with a new pint and cleaned everything up. 100% recommend, great vibes and beer. the only thing I would say is the nachos we got had parchment paper at the bottom and half the nachos were inedible due to the paper being stuck to them. doesn’t matter still 10/10 experience

72 Magee Ave, StamfordI was craving fried chicken and almost gave in to Dave’s Hot Chicken until I remembered how most commercial spots use the same industrial grade seed oils that make everything taste like burnt plastic after the third batch. You can practically feel the oxidized grease coating your soul.
Disappointed but determined, I kept searching and that’s when I stumbled across Cwispy Chicken. I’d never heard of them, but their website stopped me cold: organic chicken, avocado oil for frying, and real cane-sugar sodas!!!
The chicken was ridiculously fresh and light, perfectly crisp without the heavy aftertaste. The fries were golden, real-potato perfection, not the soggy freezer kind. You can tell they actually cook like they care about what goes into your body.
I don’t leave reviews often, but this place deserves it. In the name of Jesus, I pray their business triples because the world needs more food made with integrity, clean oil, and love.

You can mix and match your own platter and top it off with their white sauces and other sauces. The white and green sauces are the best combo! The staff is also really nice! I have tried halal carts before, but this place is even better! I can’t wait to try their other offerings! I highly recommend Shah’s!
