The front desk staff are always a pleasure to talk to, they are organized and easy to get ahold of. The Vet techs are extremely nice and take great care of our two dogs. Dr Kline has been fantastic to deal with, always listens to our concerns and takes great care of our dogs. One of our dogs Max recently passed away and we received a personalized signed card from everyone who worked there which was a very thoughtful thing to do. We whole heartedly recommend this vet.

1033 Boston Post Rd, DarienMi Ranchito 2 in Harbor Point, Stamford is hands down the best spot I’ve found for authentic Guatemalan and Peruvian food. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and homemade, and the portions were generous for the price.
I ordered the Camarones Empanizados, and it was outstanding—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and a great portion. They also have all the authentic drinks you hope to find, like tamarindo and horchata, which made the meal even better.
The service was super fast, and the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, especially when it came to recommending dishes from the menu. The restaurant itself was also very clean, which always makes a difference.
For the quality, quantity, and authenticity, this place is an amazing value. If you’re looking for real Guatemalan food or authentic Peruvian food in Stamford, Mi Ranchito 2 should absolutely be on your list. Highly recommend.

1950 Post Rd, DarienOkay lets start off with this, im a BEC enthusiast. Coming from queens, I have had a lot of BEC’s. This one stands out the most. Sitting at a 8/10 for me. The egg was perfectly runny, (extra egg for gainz) with a touch ‘healthy’ with the tomato and arugula. I think if they added a hash-brown option it woulda been a 10/10 for me.
Okay now the nitro cold brew. Tbh that ish was banginnnnnnn ‼️

The eggplant parmigiano was excellent and well prepared. The flavors were balanced and the dish itself met the standard I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Unfortunately, I personally could not eat the cheese, but this was purely a matter of dietary preference rather than any issue with the dish itself. From a culinary standpoint, it was executed very well and clearly reflected quality ingredients and proper preparation.
Sicilian Calamari – 3.9/5
The calamari itself tasted good and the quality of the seafood was evident. However, the presentation could have been improved. The sauces were mixed together on the plate, which made the dish look less refined than expected. Even small details such as clean plating and proper separation of sauces matter greatly, especially for a restaurant that aims to maintain the reputation and standard of a four-star establishment. Attention to visual presentation is just as important as taste in fine dining, and improving this aspect would elevate the dish significantly.
Service – 5/5
The service was outstanding and truly one of the highlights of the experience. Our waiter was extremely attentive, professional, and accommodating throughout the evening. One particular moment that stood out was when the waiter noticed a member of our group eating a lemon and kindly brought another one without being asked. This level of observation and attention to detail demonstrates genuine care for the guests’ experience and is exactly the kind of service that distinguishes excellent hospitality from average service.
Atmosphere – 4/5
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and comfortable, though the temperature inside felt slightly too warm or stuffy at times. A small adjustment to the climate control would likely make the environment more comfortable for guests. Aside from that, the ambiance was enjoyable and contributed positively to the dining experience.
Men’s Bathroom – Could Be Improved
The men’s restroom unfortunately did not reflect the same level of quality as the dining area. The door had to be lifted and pushed in order to lock properly, which suggests it may need maintenance. Additionally, the toilet seat appeared dirty, and overall the restroom did not give the impression of being well maintained. Cleanliness and proper upkeep of facilities are important, especially in an establishment striving to maintain high standards.
Food Overall – 5/5
The food overall exceeded my expectations. The chicken pappardelle was particularly impressive and extremely flavorful. The pizza was also excellent and stood out as one of the most enjoyable items of the evening. The desserts were equally satisfying and provided a strong finish to the meal.

Overall, it was a very good dining experience. The quality of the food and the exceptional service were the strongest aspects of the visit. The waiter in particular was incredibly kind and accommodating, which made the evening even more enjoyable. With slightly more attention to detail in areas such as plating, restroom cleanliness, and minor adjustments to the atmosphere, the restaurant could easily elevate the experience from very good to outstanding.
