The store owner provided an excellent welcome, treating us with remarkable warmth and familiarity. He refrained from any aggressive sales tactics, allowing us ample time to engage with the puppy. Consequently, the puppy is now a cherished member of our family, receiving abundant affection.

They always tell me how happy they are to see my pup, and that makes me feel so good! She always comes out smelling amazing, feeling so soft and looking shiny and healthy. I had an injured wild bird that was clearly in distress and, unfortunately, needed to be humanely euthanized. I first called VREC Norwalk since they are only a few minutes from my home. I was told they would not euthanize the bird even after I explained that it was suffering and in pain.
I called MedVet, and from the moment they answered, the difference in compassion was immediate. They told me without hesitation that they would always help an injured animal, even wildlife, and that I could bring it in right away.
Every interaction I’ve had with MedVet has been kind, calm, and genuinely compassionate. They truly care about animals and the people who love them. I’ve also brought my own pets there for emergency care over the years, and I have never once had a bad experience.
In a really difficult moment, they treated both me and the animal with respect and kindness, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. Thank you, MedVet, for always being there when it matters most and caring about even the non-paying patients.

A Cat's Place
322 Westport Ave, NorwalkI loved A Cat’s Place. I moved from out of state so finding a new vet was nerve wracking. My cat, Ellie, gets nervous with new people and does not like the carrier, so the vet is always a struggle. Dr. Caldwell gave Ellie so much care during her wellness exam and was very thorough, explaining everything she was doing as she did it. She was easy to talk to and answered all my questions and gave me recommendations I asked for. The vet tech, Lauren, was also amazing. She gave Ellie the same care and made Ellie very calm and comfortable during her exam and vaccines. Ellie usually doesn’t react well to vaccines but she didn’t even flinch. Dr. Caldwell and Lauren made the experience so much easier for her, which made it so much easier for me.

Luddy at the front is one of the best guys I know and super friendly. Shoutout to the cooks too who whipped up the sandwich, they threw some homemade hot sauce on the side which really sold me. It really is the spot!!

They make the Gelato in house, and they have so many amazing flavors, and exceptional traditional flavors!
I got one scoop of pistachio and one scoop of vanilla (which was before I realized I had missed an entire row of flavors 😢) but that will be my reason to go back!
I did try a few of their flavors including the biscoti/or maybe biscoff one; and it was SO good!!
The kids loved the gelato, and the tables are nifty!
The line gets long very quickly, but the service is fast enough to make it work it. Any wait for this Gelato is more than worth it. MUST TRY!!!
I will absolutely go back here when I am in Norwalk!
