Neon Dog
536 West Ave, NorwalkNeon Dog has been excellent with my dog, Leroy.
He’s a very dramatic 11-year-old mini schnauzer mutt and definitely gets nervous, so I really appreciate a groomer that makes the whole process easy and takes good care of him. Neon Dog does exactly that.
The space is clean and organized, booking online is simple, and the whole experience is easy from start to finish. They’re also fast, which is huge with a nervous older dog. They keep the process moving smoothly, and Leroy is usually ready quickly without it feeling rushed.
Communication is great too. They send a text when he’s close to being done, which makes pickup easy and keeps everything moving smoothly.
Most importantly, they take great care of him. He always comes back clean, well-groomed, and happy to be done with the whole dramatic ordeal. Really appreciate Neon Dog and definitely recommend them.

Yesterday, I took my mom’s fur baby, Soju, to MedVet Norwalk, and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and compassion and treated Soju with the absolute best care. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Morduchaer, Denise, Denixza, front desk receptionist , and Spencer—each of them was incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain everything and made sure Soju received the best possible treatment.
Over the past few months, my mom experienced the heartbreaking loss of another fur baby. At the two previous vets we visited, the conversation immediately focused on high costs and a required 30% down payment—before even discussing treatment. We understand veterinary care is a business, but it was difficult to feel heard or supported in those moments.
At MedVet, it was the complete opposite. They prioritized care, compassion, and communication first, and that made all the difference. We felt respected, supported, and reassured—and most importantly, Soju was treated with kindness and expertise.
We are truly grateful for the outstanding care we received and highly recommend MedVet Norwalk to anyone looking for a veterinary team that leads with heart. ??

A Cat's Place
322 Westport Ave, NorwalkI loved A Cat’s Place. I moved from out of state so finding a new vet was nerve wracking. My cat, Ellie, gets nervous with new people and does not like the carrier, so the vet is always a struggle. Dr. Caldwell gave Ellie so much care during her wellness exam and was very thorough, explaining everything she was doing as she did it. She was easy to talk to and answered all my questions and gave me recommendations I asked for. The vet tech, Lauren, was also amazing. She gave Ellie the same care and made Ellie very calm and comfortable during her exam and vaccines. Ellie usually doesn’t react well to vaccines but she didn’t even flinch. Dr. Caldwell and Lauren made the experience so much easier for her, which made it so much easier for me.

Luddy at the front is one of the best guys I know and super friendly. Shoutout to the cooks too who whipped up the sandwich, they threw some homemade hot sauce on the side which really sold me. It really is the spot!!

- Service did not match the atmosphere and the price point.
The service however was a huge disappointment. After providing my name for the reservation, the host walked about 8 steps and then without speaking pointed to the table across the room where we were apparently supposed to sit. I asked for clarification, and he then muttered in annoyance that one by the window….
Next up, we were asked if we want still or sparkling water, I asked for a bottle of still.
We received tap water. I again asked for a bottle of still, we then received lime flavored tap water. Finally our server stepped in and clarified they do not have bottled still water, only filtered…
I do want to mention besides the host no one was rude, but the service in general just didn’t seem to keep up.

Nice atmosphere and a great spot to relax, especially if you sit outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming, though I think an extra server would help during busy times.

I always get an affogato, it’s now my comfort dessert. i recommend this place to everyone i know. i’ve been to italy twice and this is the one gelato spot that actually feels like i’m back in italy. highly recommend!!
