“I have been banking exclusively with NFCU since 1986 and haven't changed banks because besides having great products, the customer service is exceptional. I have had fraudulent charges that NFCU alerted me to and took care of everything. I have financed 7 different new and used vehicles over the years and only once did I get a better interest rate from the dealership. That is 875 batting average for my bank. There are some opportunities for in person banking at different locations, but the online experience including the NFCU App is so simplistic and user friendly that even my computer illiterate elderly father could easily navigate ?.”

It was extremely stressful for me due to circumstances.
Trevor was absolutely amazing. He walked me through what I needed to do after checking with the bank manager on duty.
Then I hit another obstacle and he was tremendously kind.
He followed through the next morning with the promised phone call. When I couldn't manage taking notes down with paper and pen, He volunteered to call back and leave a message. The message was clear and contained everything I needed to get the transactions completed.
The staff at charter oak are always pleasant.

“So far, I have no complaints. I opened an account recently. The only thing I found a bit disconcerting was the fact that the person who assisted me with opening my account wrote my SSN down on a piece of paper. It made me uncomfortable, and I let them know. I was assured that the paper would be shredded at the end of the day, however, having worked with finances as an employee, writing down account numbers, SSNs or CC#s was absolutely forbidden as it created an unnecessary security risk.
I still don't feel.comfortable about the situation a month later, and am considering closing my accounts.”
