They not only had the instinct to suspect a bike brought to them was stolen, but then linked the serial number with a bike registry posting — and tracked me down to get my bike back. “This bike shop is conveniently located in Eckington, near the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro station and the Metropolitan Branch Trail. It's THE place to get a professionally refurbished bike (with cute lil stylish details) for $200-400! They have volunteer nights where you can come learn to fix bikes — including nights especially for people of color, women/trans/femmes, and LGBTs! They have a youth program called Earn-a-Bike where teens fix up a bike they get to keep for free. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays, but open at noon every other day of the week.”
