My vehicle was running rough and check engine light was flashing, I got diagnosed from autozone and was told needed a tune up but brought to Malik and was told that had a large vacuum leak at PCV hose and intake boot. Told him to repair temporary due to fund issue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.”

“I know what you're thinking. "There goes Martin reviewing something stupid like a gas station again." But before you pass judgment on me, consider the following: This gas station is also a hydrogen fueling station for god damned hydrogen cars. If you're a geek or a gearhead like me then you should think that's pretty flippin' awesome! Otherwise, it's a very well-lit gas station with a lot of pumps. Not much else to be said really. Despite being so awesome as to have a hydrogen pump, you're still gonna be paying an arm and a leg for gas.”

My bumper was falling off (because my car is low and I always pull too far forward when I park) and the mechanic at Shell at the corner of Georgia Ave. and Piney Branch Rd. fixed it right up for a fair price. The mechanic also suggested I replace my windshield wipers (which I wanted to do anyway) and they're great! I felt taken care of, and like my vehicle safety and operability was a top priority. They even checked my engine fluids and recommended the right kind of coolant to get. The mechanic even offered to put it in the engine for me if I had some at home. So nice! Definitely go here if you need quick service and honest pricing.”
“We have been long-time Hill residents and used Distads as our car repair shop for many years. Since it has changed hands, we have had two very positive experiences with the new team. Before the holidays, they took care of a few repairs for an older van that we were selling, with a quick turnaround time and reasonable prices. Today, I called in the morning to have a nail removed from my tire and a plug put in. They told me to come on in, and when I arrived, these repairs were handled right away--and no charge! This is the kind of customer service that keeps folks coming back for the larger repairs. Highly recommend!”

“Mechanic Review - These guys are top-notch. For over 5 years, I brought two vehicles (Infiniti/Jaguar) to Johnny and his team, and they consistently delivered. Whether it was a quick fix to tighten up a loose screw, an oil change, detailed maintenance to rectify wild shaking, fender bender , or who knows what else can destroy a car in a city with so many bad roads - I always knew my car was in great hands. Any work done was provided a quote in a timely manner, and anything done was always explained to me in detail, and in layman's terms so I could actually understand the issue. When recommending this place to friends, they recounted similar experiences of ease. Any time I needed something done with my car, this place took care of it. Please note that they also have a body-shop down the street in Hyattsville, and we're able to match the paint exactly in order to have the vehicle looking sparkling - they really can do it all!”
