The Glover Park Hotel Georgetown is a hidden gem in a relatively quiet part of town, just north of Georgetown. It is characterized by its cleanliness and distinguished, courteous, and extremely helpful service from the reception staff. The hotel offers wonderful, large, and adequate rooms with comfortable beds.
The charming downstairs restaurant and cafe provide a nice atmosphere and incredible, amazing food, including pastries made on the spot. The location is nice and in close proximity to many consulates, restaurants, tourist places, and grocery stores, with good walkability.
However, there are some cons. A lack of amenities includes no microwave, ice bucket, or coffee creamer in rooms, and room cleaning is only once in two days. Parking is a problem, especially for larger vehicles, and there is no public transport connectivity. There is an additional security deposit required per day, and at times there is not enough front desk help.

The rooms are slightly outdated and need an update. The hotel looks a little tired inside, decor, finishes and color schemes. Staff was friendly and rooms clean but there are better options if you take the time to find.

Nice little hotel with clean rooms. Only gripe is that my room was near the main road and traffic noise was audible in the room
