It is a nice place. Personal is very friendly and pet friendly. The market has great variety of products, good prices and great selection of fresh produce, meat, dairy, veggies and Spanish pastries. Fresh foods and spices are abundant, with excellent selection of spices, jasmine rice, 20lb bags, and options that can't be found at nearby big grocery stores. The produce section is on point with quality, variety and priced very right; three ripe mangoes for $2, 1 lb of serranos for $2 and three giant green peppers for $2. Baked goods and tamales are sold if you are lucky enough to get them before they sell out. The store is immaculately clean, tidy and appears family owned. It is a great neighborhood grocery store and a favorite mart for any walking a dog or needing corn tortillas, mangonada, jalapeños or cold Jarritos.
Very good small supermarket, with fresh produce and lots of Latin American products. The papaya there was the best I’ve ever had in DC. Let’s support these small stores that make DC streets more interesting!

This is a bodega stocked with lots of Hispanic/Caribbean items but no non-fat milk or fruit yogurts or unsalted peanut butter.
