No staff in my building were able to help, so I rushed to the only place I could think of with phones: AT&T. I would like to point out Erick's helpfulness: we found ourselves in the critical situation of a lost phone in the metro, came into the at&t store, told him about the gravity of the situation, no questions asked he handed over his phone and assisted us in recovering the lost item.
He was also hands down fair in providing guidance letting us know that for the phone model which I possess, there is no at&t package that will work.

“I woke up one day to find my new Pixel 8 was not taking a charge. I went to the Russell Cellular Store on Rockville Pike as a walk-in. Needless to say, someone was already ahead of me. The tech immediately diagnosed the problem (charger & cord) and was concerned I would have to buy a new one. But with software changes, I had to. Altho by that time there was a person seeking help on the phone, another waiting in a chair, and three new walk-ins trying to get served, he never lost his cool. Service was quick, info perfect & accurate, and it fixed my (admittedly small) problem. Thru it all l he was unfailingly calm and polite. I give him an A+! Although I would say, the store desperately needs more staff!”

“Dead PC, which getting power to the motherboard but the computer wouldn't power up. Asked to diagnose but not repair, as it was an old machine and a new computer would be less than repairs most likely. $60 fee.
They promised to call later that day or the next to tell me what they found initially. I had to call to check after not hearing back. They were ordering a new motherboard to test with. Good troubleshooting, but not what I asked, for a 12-year old machine.
I declined service, but will say they did seem to know what they were doing.”
