“Private club that allows open table reservations ... We had great service, mussels appetizer was super. We split a salad and the steak frites - they split in the kitchen and presented separately - nice touch! Food was great ...”
“Absolutely fantastic DC Watch show hosted by none other than the Mr. Time Bum! And it’s completely FREE to the public!
What an event, soo many watch companies (many of whom are stellar micro-brands), the place was packed with enthusiasts!
We only went on March 8th but it’s a two day event.
So many brands to discover, and so many opportunities to buy fantastic watches at a large discounts. But most important of all, you get to try watches that are usually only available online.
Great atmosphere overall, wasn’t too crowded to the point where you couldn’t move. You actually get to talk in person to brand owners and their reps. And they even have daily giveaways!”
“We had our wedding at Fathom Gallery on 14th Street a couple days ago and it was absolutely amazing! The space is gorgeous. It has such a cool vibe and made for the most beautiful setting. Emily, Meg, and Olivia are seriously the best. They were so easy to work with, super organized, and just genuinely great people. It honestly made it a no-brainer to choose Fathom! They also connected us with the best vendors, which made the whole planning process so easy and stress-free. Couldn’t recommend this venue and team more!”

“It’s a cute vintage theater. Knocking a star off for the super sticky floors. I was seated and wanted to tap my feet along to the music but the soles of my shoes were getting stuck ?”

“We loved Mess Hall as our wedding venue! Al was incredibly responsive and helpful. He made the planning process much smoother by always being available to answer questions and give suggestions. Additionally, because the venue is also a food incubator, he was able to make excellent suggestions for catering.
The venue itself is a gem—unique, versatile, and full of character. The space allowed us to get creative, and we were given carte blanche to design a wedding that truly reflected our vision. We couldn't have been happier with how it all came together.”
“I love it down here, sometimes my son gets in the water and sometimes we go on the other side, find a tree and sit under it. A chill vibe with friendly people. One important part for me is the Throne Toilets porta potty because you scan the qr code with your phone, that prompts you to send a text and when you come out they send a survey, it controls who comes in while also allowing you to let them know if its clean. All in all, I love The Yards Park and recommend it and go maybe 2-4 times a month. I thought this pic was cool, shows some of why I love it, the water. I went down again snd took some other pics while on a boat ride, thank me later”

“Mu husband was having cancer surgery at GWU Hospital in DC. The AKA was easy walking distance to the hospital. The property provided a delightful environment from the spacious room and the restaurant bar area. Front desk extremely accommodating. Highly recommend this charming boutique hotel.”

“Great place to work if you don’t have to be in the office, meet friends or mingle with members of the 4th estate. The second level is reserved for members only and their guests, so if you’re not a member, find a friend who is.”
“WONDERFUL. For a nice, self guided tour of US Navy History, this is the place. Clean and comfortable, you'll enjoy getting out of the heat or cold. The first shop offers all US Military branch souvenirs. I love coming here on every trip to DC.”
“Great space, visited twice for the annual Whiskey Washback event. An upstairs mezzanine with tasting rooms, a lower ballroom with good ambiance. Easy accessible via the metro and several nearby garages offering discounted evening parking rates.”
“I attended an anniversary party there not long ago. They were celebrating one year of being in business. It's a great place to rent for any number of events. However, parking is not great because it's located downtown DC.”
“Such a beautiful venue to make your vision of your event come to life!!!I had a smooth process from booking the space to the night of my event. Staff was communicative and helped make it a night to remember. I would definitely recommend and use again in the future.”
“What a story of industry support to bring Credit Unions and legislatures together to talk about what's important to our communities and to our members. Thank you to those who came before me and had the forethought to serve the people and meet their needs for financial wellness.”
“The washingtonian whiskey fest was held here. The space is opened and spacious. The event was cute. I would definitely return to dock5. Dock5 is hidden behind the union market building in a little walk way. Also, there's a few shops across from it.”
“We were invited to dine there, and the experience was delightful. The dining hall was cozy, relaxing, and welcoming. The food was excellent—hats off to the chef! I highly recommend this place if you're seeking a quiet and enjoyable dining experience.”
“The Alchemist room was very unique and interesting, we did got stuck a few times but Amanda was super helpful without revealing the answers to the puzzles. Lots of fun, highly recommended!”
“I was here for an event and we walked up to the rooftop. You could see an American flag with the US Capitol building behind it. It's quite a good spot for political-related events. After the speeches and stuff, we took a short walk to the actual building. If you are in DC and can get this spot, I'd go for it.”

“Not far from Saint Ann’s Catholic Church on Wisconsin Avenue, I had my wedding reception here many years ago! We had both fireplaces going in the beautiful ballroom that accommodated a long rectangular table for the wedding party and eight round tables for guests. There was plenty of room for the buffet table, a band, and dancing on the parquet floor. You have to bring in your own caterer – we hired Ridgewells who did an AMAZING job and really impressed the new in-laws! ;) Plenty of parking on the street. It’s a great place to start some of the best memories of your life!”
“I love toolbox Pilates!!! I’ve taken 4 beginner reformer classes now and it’s so much fun and a good challenge. I wish the instructors were doing to exercises along side you, but they’re very good at cueing. The space is just absolutely gorgeous. Love it!!”
“After a venue cancellation issue due to construction, the Whittemore House came to our rescue with 3 months to go before our wedding. The venue is an awesome place to explore, photograph, and enjoy with any event, and the WH team was great to work with. They have a beautiful garden and receptions rooms. Would highly recommend!!”

“Never been inside the facility; however, I’ve been outside the business and they’re always playing good music that makes me forget about the time I spend waiting for my partner to come out of the store next door”

“I hit up the DC Wharf waterfront spots pretty regularly, and it’s always a great time. Whether I’m catching the ferry or just enjoying the vibe, the Wharf never disappoints. Recently, I went for the DC Jazz Festival, and the talent was unreal—just an amazing atmosphere.
Saturday brunch at the Wharf is a must. Makers Union’s bottomless brunch is one of my favorites, but there are so many options, you really can’t go wrong.
One of the best parts is how dog-friendly it is. I can bring my dog, and almost every restaurant welcomes him. It’s a fun spot for my wife and me, and even when we bring family, there’s something for everyone.”
