“The Rock Creek Mansion was the perfect venue to hold a celebration of life event for my husband. It's light and airy and felt intimate...perfect for sharing memories and stories. Because it was a gorgeous May day we were able to also enjoy the patio and lovely grounds. Julie Carter and the other members of the Mansion staff are wonderful! I relied on Julie's knowledge and experience and it paid off. I've gotten many compliments from family and friends about the Mansion and the friendly and accommodating staff, who flawlessly executed my plans. The sound system is excellent and we played selections from my husband's Spotify playlist, so he also had a "voice" at his memorial service. Julie, her team and the Rock Creek Mansion are stellar!”

4908 Auburn Ave, Bethesda“What a great theater! I didn't know theaters that were so kid friendly existed. I live in Northern VA, and it only took 45 minutes to get there. I will forever be in awe of everything that goes into creating the magic of a play. The performers were incredible. I can't wait to go back.”
“There were so many candies to choose from, I couldn't pick. The service was great! The ambiance made me feel like I was in the game Candy Land. It was great you should totally go here.”

6711 Democracy Blvd, Bethesda“Nice Hotel for the area and pricing but Lots of hidden fees. The hotel only offers King Size Bedroom and services 4 people per room. There is a $50 per day deposit fee and they charge you for breakfast if it’s over 4 people. They also have a very small indoor pool which is also used for swimming lessons during the day so pool hours are very very limited . It also makes the pool look very very cloudy .I am usually a fan a of Embassy Suites but this location has too many turn offs. My car wasn’t even able to fit in the parking garage but yet I was charged full price for the parking. The front desk staff has great customer service . Very kind.Rooms: Rooms and clean and usable. It would be nice if there were options for two bed suites.Nearby activities: Hotel is about 25-30 min away from all memorials and Smithsonian’s.Safety: I felt pretty safe”

4922 Cordell Ave, Bethesda“My fiancé and I decided to try a new bar, and we loved it, the food choices are amazing, the wings are probably one of the best that we've had in a while, I had the burger, but I definitely enjoyed my other half's meal more, that Ruben was just fantastic. The service was great no complaints at all, she was wonderful. Love the feel of this place with all the great music playing, sports on the TVs just a great time. Thank you.”

5151 Pooks Hill Rd, Bethesda“This hotel is very nice. as soon as you walk into the entrance, they have a really nice restaurant farm to table that is open till late night. The reception desk is very nice and everyone is helpful there. This hotel has very nice amenities. A really big gym with different exercise machines and a lot more. The pool is very nice when it’s open during the season. The rooms are very clean. They look like they are recently renovated. The bathrooms are very nice as well. There is plenty of parking and it’s not so expensive. The location can be a little bit secluded. Meaning there isn’t much retail or restaurants around. But if you’re not here for any of that, then this is a great hotel nonetheless, Overall great hotel.”
“Bowling was good, animations were fantastic, the guy who gave us our shoes was yapping a bit but whatever. Also they give out free water when you’re there, like by the pitcher, very nice.”
“On St. Patrick's Day, my mom wanted green beer, so we went to The Barking Dog. The gastropub was filled with sports fanatics. Since alcoholic drinks weren't permitted in the patio area, we were seated at a booth near the bathroom. My brother had an O'Doul's, my fiancé had a Crooked Crab Haze for Days Pale Ale, my parent shared a New Trails Crisp Lager (dyed green), and I had a Green Tea Cocktail. We shared an order of Pub Pretzels, which was served warm and with a spicy cheese dipping sauce.”
