“Great atmosphere and service. I did a 1 hour lesson with Anthony working on fixing iron and driver slicing. After one session and some practice tips from Anthony, I could tell my game improved out on the course. Highly recommend for a fun day/night out and lessons if in the area!”

“Went for Easter dinner with my family. My father went there often many years ago. They were fast, fun and the food was delicious. The server was personable but not obtrusive. We'll definitely go back.”

“Spacious setting (29th & 30th floors). Great view of D.C. I could even see Heyden Observatory on the grounds of Georgetown. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to hold a corporate event.”

“Came here with my son, two friends and their babies. We came to check out a story time sing along class. We made our reservations online ahead of time for $20/kid and 1 adult. This also included 2 hours of open play time afterwards. When you get there, you are greeted and checked in. There is complimentary coffee and water. They show you the cubbies for your shoes and other belongings. The storytime sing along with speech pathologist Corinne was awesome! I didn't think our babies (all under 6 months) would really care for the activity, but they loved it! So engaging, educational and fun! The open play area was very soothing and Montessori-esque with simple wooden toys and various creative stations. I do think the cost is a bit steep at $20, but if you do the class and your little one enjoys the open play time, it is definitely worth it! Will keep an eye out for future events at Nook!”

“Food was fairly decent for a bar. They even had gluten free options. Service was pretty decent as well. Prices are what you would expect I think. Atmosphere wasn't bad except in the evening they had a DJ and the music was pretty loud. I liked the music he was playing, it was just a bit loud for a hotel bar. If you're staying at the hotel and need food and drinks it's worth stopping by.”

“What white people think Japanese food is like… which isn’t necessarily bad. With the atmosphere of loud rock music it’s tough to savor the taste of the sushi (and the expensive prices!). The quality is seemingly not bad, but unfortunately the menu pairs the fresh fish with non-traditional flavors, it detracts from the quality, which was good for the salmon at the very least. The eel was unusually chewy, almost overcooked. The service is nice. If you just want to go out drinking, and don’t care about the food, this might be your place.Oh and also, they included tax within the tip calculation, but when displaying the tip amounts only displayed the subtotal. A bit dishonest.”

“The Crystal City Marriot is in the perfect Arlington location when you need to be near D.C. I ordered a grilled chicken mediterranean salad for room service. It was very fast and arrived fresh and tasty. Please note that they are doing extensive construction surrounding the hotel now, so if you were hoping to sleep in past 7 am, it might be difficult. Other than that minor inconvenience, I'd visit again.”

“Always have a great time bowling, but what I dislike about this place is that the food always come out cold ! It’s either the fries or the nachos ! Other than that I enjoy myself when I come here”

“For a two-night staycation, my wife, seven-year-old daughter and I checked into the Ritz-Carlton, one of Arlington's only luxury hotels. Right outside the Pentagon City Metro and connected to the Pentagon City Mall, here's our experience.1) Check-In: With the app, it's easy. Our stay was in the app with all the details. Check in went smoothly. Upon check in, you can choose a mobile room key or physical key cards. Staff offered to help with our luggage.Next to the check in desk is a Ritz Kids kiosk that my seven-year-old daughter enjoyed. After filling out a few questions, she was given a coloring pad, crayons, a scavenger hunt map, a stuffed animal, and gummy bears. "I feel like a princess," she said.2) Rooms: We stayed on floor 18, the club access level, in a double bed room with views of D.C.'s monuments. We could see the Washington Monument, the National Cathedral, and nearby Air Force Memorial (in Arlington). The room came with a desk, luggage stands, a closet, a small bathroom, a mini bar, and a snack bar for pay. There were enough outlets and the bathroom came with a shaving kit, a dental kit, and more. The water pressure was great and the water can be turned to soft or hard. For the three of us, the room's beds were small. Both moving around a lot, my daughter and I shared a bed and didn't sleep well. The second night we got a mattress for the floor so we each had a place to sleep.3) Amenities: The hotel has a third floor gym with weights, machines, a sauna, and steam room in each changing room area. The pool was closed for renovation. There's the Sante restaurant and bar on the ground level near meeting rooms. The Club Lounge on the 18th floor offered five meal times throughout the day with quality food, views of the monuments, and plenty of tables to sit and read. They also had wine, drinks, and a candy bar.In the lobby, there's a postcard area to send free postcard to friends and family. The hotel offers valet service.4) Service: The Ritz is know for the "Ritz-Carlton Way." Every staff member was genuinely friendly, remembering our names, and treating us like family. At every step, they offered to help. When we bought dumplings that needed to be frozen, they stored it in the hotel freezer for us.Our daughter felt special throughout our stay. At dinner, the restaurant Sante placed a stuffed animal on her plate. The valet service let her pick a toy from their toy box. She loved staying here!5) Area: It's near the Metro and the mall is connected with all types of shops and a food court. For good coffee, walk two blocks to Commonwealth Joe. The Metropolitan Park and Long Bridge Park are close with trails, public art, and views.(Disclaimer: The hotel hosted our stay, but views are my own. They didn't ask for me to post.)”
