“I love this Acme because it has self checkout and there prices, it also helps to download the app, you clip coupons in the app along with the monthly sale paper is in there so you can start you shopping list. You also get rewards for the amount you spend. My goal at the end of my shopping trip is to have my saving % higher then my spending % and i can usually make happen most of the time.”
“This is usually the only place I can grab a really healthy snack while on my 4 hour trips between VA and NJ. The store is always busy, everyone is always cordial, the cashiers and stockers are always nice and helpful and the store’s always clean.”

“Excellent produce selection and prices. They have a nice variety of foods from India, Turkey, Mexico, China and more. My only complaint is that it could be better organized and you do need to check expiration dates. Overall, I think it's a great market with some odds/ ends items like small home and kitchen items. I left off one star for organization and cleaning..”

“My family find this store outstanding, it is the best Asian market we have found near us. The selection is amazing, my kids really love the snacks because they have a huge selection. They have a bit of everything, fresh fruit and veg., chips, fish, seasonings and spices, beautiful dishes, and some housewares! Will visit again and we truly enjoy visiting this store!”
“They had beautiful produce, but high prices. It was dead, so all of the attention was on us, but freaky. I'm not a thief, but in this overly crowded, overly stimulating world, it felt odd. My husband asked where the bananas where. When he saw the price, he just said no, so we left. Everything looked like it had just been picked. If you like the freshest produce, this is your spot. If price is your concern, debate on it. We did not debate. We went to Walmart. I usually buy my produce at Trader Joe's and Produce Junction. We decided to try The Produce Place to be different.”

The produce section is usually very fresh, and I love that they have a good variety of local items that are priced much better than the fancy organic markets. Every time I go through the checkout, the staff is incredibly polite and they actually handle my bags with care so nothing gets squashed. It is a very reliable neighborhood spot that doesn't feel overwhelming to shop in, and their store brand items are actually high quality. It makes a routine chore feel a lot easier and more affordable.”

“Best Mexican grocery in southern Chester county and that’s saying a lot given all the excellent Mexican food we have here. They bag their own dried chiles so they are much fresher than the options at every other Mexican restaurant where I have shopped. Their chiles don’t crumble into dust because they are fresher and much more fragrant for making home chile powder or chilli/stews. The homemade salsas in mason jars are delicious if a little pricey but for an occasional buy it’s so much better than even the nicer grocery store brands. Ditto for the homemade tortilla chips. If you need good ingredients for Mexican food you can’t beat Lara.”

“I like this place, prices are better then the big chain stores especially on meat, and you don’t have to get twice as much like the big chains. If you want one or two you can get them. Not a big selection since the store is on the smaller side compared to the others But they have most everything you’re shopping for. Get this, they actually give you paper bags for your groceries and not charge you. It’s like old school shopping before the green BS ( paper bags are completely recyclable and biodegradable, good for the environment because paper trees are planted like crops, provide fresh air for many years before being harvested then replanted.) “Love there prices and they're also stocked very well. Forgot to pickup some mayo well there and was passing a ShopRite so I went in. There's was over $8. I went back to ALDI's and brought the same mayo for almost $4 less.”
“Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Interesting selection of items, not what you'd find in a mainstream store, but you pay a premium for it. Go to the cafe in the late afternoon for $3 Blue Moons and a $10 Filet Mignon sandwich. Take them outside and enjoy!”

They also have great sandwich’s and desserts. Checkout is always friendly and non judgmental when I forgot my reusable grocery bag. ( the paper one is LOVED by my cats for many weeks)”
