“This is my go to place for all needs and it stays open till 1 A.M. most nights IMO best liquor store in North Wilmington area. The selection of beer liquor and wine is so well put together in this small oasis. Trust me if you need it they have it”
“Working with Frank's for our wedding was great. Ordering alcohol seemed like an overwhelming task but everything was streamlined and straightforward with Frank's. They invited us for a tasting and provided recommendations on how much to buy. Thank you for helping make this process easy!”
“Dean was fantastic! He went out of his way and found me a bottle of a rare wine (Faust Cabernet Sauvignon). He also recommended a unique 50th anniversary wine. Then, he gave me a great price on both!
When I arrived to pick up my order, Michelle was very sweet, and made the bag look more festive, as it was a gift.
When I presented these wines as a gift to my parents, they were shocked and amazed and thrilled!
Thank you Dean for helping and guiding this wine neophyte! You are a wonderful man!
The store is gorgeous. The staff is first rated. They have a HUGE selection, and are happy to help.
I can't recommend Deerfield Wines highly enough!!”
“Great place! Just moved into a nearby development I read the favorable reviews of this place here, so I thought I'd stop in. Didn't find the specific bourbon I was looking for but there was a fairly broad selection of liquors and I found an aged rum at an exceptional price that I did pick up. This shop is less than 5 minutes from me, and I will be back!”
“The flip side of (perhaps) enjoying wine too much is meeting and supporting places like Swigg - where shopping, tasting, and seeing friends is a regular treasure.”
“I don’t have to be a wine expert, I have the associates from Moore Brothers to guide me through my wine purchases that exceed my needs. They have special relationships with select vintners from around the world that sell simply great wines!”
“Brandon (hope I spelled that right) was awesome. He took the time to explain different types of beers to me based on what I liked and had a great knowledge of local breweries as well as where to get a brand nearby I wasn’t able to find in store. I also share a bday with a separate employee and everyone here is nice. ?”
“Don’t judge a book by its cover bc this place was the ONLY store that had a hard to get Blaton’s bourbon. We drove two hrs just to get this. The store appears to be questionable but they came through for us.Location is off to the side off of the main rd which I don’t remember. It looks like it used to be a 7 Eleven store.Staff is very nice.Selection is limited compared to FWGS.Prices are excellent compared to other states.Overall we are happy that we got what we set out for and we’ll drive back to get more.”
“Here you find a variety of wine, beer, and whiskey. It's also possible to find soda which some people buy to combine with the wine or whiskey to drink. You must present your ID when buying.”

“Been to a lot of stores in different states recently. Anesh has, by far, been the most pleasant, helpful, friendly and knowledgable person we have encountered. So great dealing with him, will be back on our way through in the future. If you’re in the area, definitely need to stop in and meet this guy.”
“...assume that I could have simply visited at the wrong time (late weekday AM, looked as though stocking may have been happening) but overall, there seemed to be a good selection of wines & spirits esp. for a smaller neighborhood store.”
“Had not been there since 1984 bought my first case of Mouton Roth first growth. Still a classic, incredible experience when you enter Impeccable service start to finish. Finest of wine....”
“I reached out to Brandywine Liquor for my wedding at Terrain at Styers with less than two weeks from my wedding. PG was so helpful in the planning process of which wine, liquors, and beers to pick. Any requests I had he was able to fulfill or find a better or similar priced alternative that met or exceeded my expectations. PG was very attentive to my several additions to our liquor list. He carefully went over the order with me on pick up day. I would definitely use Brandywine Liquor again for any events I have in the area again.”
“Most times when headed from New England down to Delaware . We change drivers there at Newcastle and I go in the store and I can sip on a cold beer and enjoy the rest of the ride.”
“Since the remodel I have found the store to be very nice and well put together. They have all the usual suspects and more. There is never a, "nothing interesting here, it's just a store for maintenance drinkers." Staff is helpful and polite, they don't act like they are cuffed to the register like the checkout staff of the Food Lion in Claymont. Good place to get things especially if you don't want to deal with the s@%t show that is Total Wines parking lot. Happy New Year!”
“If you can't find it here, there's a good chance you can't find it anywhere. Waywood has been our go-to for the past 20 years. Even though we moved to West Grove last year, we still return to Waywood. Selection is incredible - in fact too many great beers to make the decision process easy. If you aren't going in for your favorite brand, you could spend hours here wandering the aisles looking for something new. Hard to find beers (we found a Scottish beer here that a friend had given us to try and have never found it anywhere else in the area), the standards, and everything in-between.”
“The guys that run this place are super cool and very helpful. If your a regular like me they will order whatever you want and keep it in stock. My tastes change and they keep up with me. I can't say enough about how laid back and co this small liquor store is. They carry your stuff out if you ask. Just a great lil store and I go a bit out of my way to go see them cause they have what I want and we always trade insults so it's all good. I highly recommend these guys. Very large selection for a smaller store. Knowledgeable about their products so don't be afraid to ask a question.”
“The Bullet: Outstanding selection of loose beers/ales. You'll find mports and domestic, craft and microbrews. You can mix and create your own 6-packs. My kind of shopping/buying. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.
The Backup: The selection is wide and deep for beer drinkers. I really like being able to pick from a variety of styles of brews (mostly ales) and buying fewer than a six pack of any one product. I get to taste and rate something different each time I shop T. W.
I'm willing to pay the per-bottle/can cost to get as few units of a brew as I choose. If I'm familiar with the style and enjoy it regularly, I can buy the 6 pack and save a few bucks.
I drink for taste, flavor and quality, seldom more than one per sitting, usually following a workout. That's generally 3 times a week. I urge you to drink responsibly. Please don't drink and drive - you might run into (or over) me.

“I miss this store since moving from the area. But look forward to popping back in when I'm back in town. Always friendly service....helpful w wine selections.”
“This is one of those best kept secrets a small wine shop with a great owner named Oscar; his knowledge is amazing. If you’re looking for mainstream wines, he has them of course and there’s plenty of places that sell those. However the key here is if you’re looking for some rare vintage, unique organic and other diversification than this is the place worth trying. Private and intimate venue spot in the back room to host a party or stop in for one of the wine tasting nights. Truly a great experience.”
“Always friendly, and is fully stocked. Knowledgeable staff. Wide selection and a “will help you” attitude. Shop here and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you!”
“Tons of beer and malt beverages (seltzer’s). They sell alcohol related products, cowboys hats, and cigars. They have video slot machines for the locals to enjoy.”
“Nice layout and very extensive selection on great beer and wine. Staff knowledgeable on wines. They have everyday wine to that bottle I'm going to purchase when I land a better job. Will return again.”
“Small tucked away liquor stores sometimes have hard to find bourbons, whiskeys, ryes and scotches that you can't find anywhere else. I almost missed the premium shelf, which was behind the counter until the clerk asked if I was looking for anything in particular. Up top were some of the hard to find bourbons that I can't seem to come across back home. I was able to score a nice bottle of Eagle Rare today. The price was a little high though but, that seems to be the case with many of the brands nowadays with the renewed interest in American bourbons and whiskeys. So, if your the frat boy college kid picking up two gallons of cheap vodka along with a case or two of Bud Light, this place is for you. If your the middle aged fella scouring town looking for a hard to come by bottle bourbon, this place is also for you. Cheers!”
“This place is great! They have everything from some pretty obscure nonalcoholic beers to a fine selection of scotches. They also have some Canadian beer, which is the best beer obviously…”
“Eileen (hope I remember/spelled correctly) was very nice and offered samples to try. Enjoyed their EC private barrel selection.
Pretty good selection of bourbons with great pricing.”

“This is my go to place for allocated bourbons. They prioritize loyal customers with both pricing and accessibility. They’ve always held Blanton, Eagle Rare, & Buffalo Trace for me.”
“I love coming here because the staff is friendly, always have what you’re looking for and even new things to try. Not only that, the prices are amazing. Highly recommend this liquor store to anyone.”
“Phenomenal place. The gentlemen that work tirelessly are always there when we need them, have a bounty of experience, and make continuous improvements in store and selection. Years past when most of the area was buried in snow, they were open as a walking destination. They are always smiling to see my wife and I, and since we've moved, we now drive 10 miles out of our way to come to this place. This isn't just a liquor store, this is our liquor store.”
“In the mornings, I usually see a couple of familiar faces — all polite and professional — and they’ve always been helpful with recommendations or ringing up items quickly when I’m in a rush. But what really inspired me to write this review is the recent change in the evening shift.
Over the past two months, I noticed a new gentleman working in the evenings. Since his arrival, the entire atmosphere of the store has noticeably improved. He’s incredibly friendly, respectful, and has a calm, welcoming demeanor that makes you feel appreciated as a customer. Whether you’re buying a single bottle or stocking up for the weekend, he greets everyone with a warm smile and genuine interest.
He’s also quite knowledgeable about the products and gives great suggestions without being pushy. I’ve found myself going in more often in the evenings simply because the experience is so pleasant. It’s rare these days to come across people who actually care about customer service, and his presence has truly elevated the store’s vibe.
If you’re in the area and haven’t checked out this liquor store yet, I highly recommend visiting, especially in the evenings. You might just find yourself wanting to stop by more often, like I do.”
