“Giant!! One of the better grocery options in the area, that and Harris Teeter (you get what you pay for). Giant is always clean and orderly and offers many healthy options if that’s what you’re into. However I do have 2 complaints, there is no year round watermelon ? and it would be fantastic if Giant offered year round whole watermelons. Put me down for 5-6 per week. The paper bags are beyond cheap, it would be nice to get a better paper bag supplier as some of us don’t carry re-usable bags with us at all times and I suppose I should since I grocery shop 3-4 times a week.Anyway, all in all I give Giant 5 stars for being a fantastic supplier of delicious and affordable food as well as a clean and friendly store with a knowledgeable staff.”

“I only stop here about once a year on the way to Ocean City, MD to pick up groceries for a week of vacation, but I'm always impressed by the large selection, excellent quality of products, reasonable prices, and great customer service. The store brand pre-made and partially-made foods are delicious, so I don't feel the need to cook everything from scratch. This past Monday was my most recent trip, and our cashier Mark was super friendly and helpful, making my friend and I feel at-home.If there were a branch of this supermarket near my home in Pennsylvania, I'd shop there weekly!”

“A Good Beach Supermarket!I have frequented this locally owned in Ocean View, DE for over 40 years because it is near our beach house in Bethany Beach and off the main, more crowded routes nearby, and still easy to get to. Originally, it was the only stocked grocery store.The original building is now the business’ amazing hardware store, so the newer grocery building is quite large.As with original grocery store, there is a gas station on the site, and shopping there earns points towards a discounted price on gas.I keep using the grocery — the chains are a bit further and this one is just fine for our needs.”

“Food Lion on Lighthouse Rd (Hwy 58) Selbyville DE --what a delightful store to shop in! Clean, aisles not cluttered, more product than any other Food Lion near my home in Myrtle Beach SC. Visiting relatives in DE & will shop here every time I'm back. Only 4stars because the need for more imployes on registers. One lady on C/S desk taking all orders, while other stations closed & the self service section loaded with customers.”

“I love this Weis!! I usually go to the Giant across the street, but I made a right turn instead and ended up here. I'm glad I did.The store was a lot less crowded than Giant usually is, and their checkout section wasn't a mess, either. It seems a bit smaller, but they still had a selection of pretty much everything any other grocery store does. Their sushi is cheaper regular-price than Giant's (although they still can't beat Giant on Wednesdays). They also have a larger selection of diet store-brand soda, which is why I'll be returning.The two employees I interacted with were both very kind guys who seemed to genuinely care about customers (both me as well as someone else I saw them interacting with). I can't think of anything to complain about at Weis!”

“After years of shopping around the area, I have discovered Harris Teeter. I shop there personally and for my business. Quality matters and their produce is excellent. I have found the employees to be more than helpful. Their sales are worth a trip. I am now a recovering Giant shopper. They have the best selection of ethnic foods in the area.”

“Much more comprehensive grocery selection than your other choices in the immediate area (Hockers or Weis). Both of those have different selections, though, so it might be worth another stop.It's VERY busy during the vacation season. Neither of the other two stores is as congested as Giant. The strip center it's in has a number if other stops you might want to make, so it may still be your best choice, but don't expect to love the experience.They limit self check out to 20 items. That's a hassle.”

“We needed to grab a few groceries. So we stopped here and got some things that we needed. They had a very large selection of everything and great brands. We needed trash bags and a few other things, and were able to score a 10 pack of trash bags for a $40 nine. That's unheard of especially in ocean. City. We got the rest of things we needed for supper. And everyone that work, there was very nice and compassionate. When we could not find a specific item, we were able to ask an employee and they would help us. They also take Google Pay, which is very nice. When you don't have your wallet. They are also right next door to Sunsationals. We were able to go in there and have a good time after words.”

“The Montego Bay Super Thrift is a nice little supermarket. It's not as big as the supermarkets in Baltimore, but it has a vary good selection of products and foods. There's a deli with employees behind the counter and tasty looking prepared items. The shrimp salad and the potato salad looked particularly enticing. But they weren't on the list my wife gave me, and I'm trying to lose weight. So I didn't buy any.Checkout was pleasant and quick. Earlier, there was an item I couldn't find. The checkout lady knew where it was.The shopping carts are kept outside the store, and there are railings that imply that the customer shouldn't roll the shopping carts out to their cars in the free parking lot. But they don't make it impossible. That's convenient for frail elderly folks like myself. I did return the cart to where it belongs after putting my items in my car.This was a pleasant shopping experience, and I recommend the Montego Bay Super Thrift.”

“I absolutely love this store! Having just moved to the area I first placed an order for pick-up with them. I was very satisfied with the whole process from ordering to the lovely young lady, (Allie?) who loaded my car. The produce was very fresh. My roasted chicken was hot! Was there again late last night, the store is very well stocked and I was happy to find even the obscure items on my mental list that I didn't even know I needed. Lol! The staff here were the best , friendly and extremely helpful to the two Jersey gals! Will shop in person and order pickups again and again!”
