“This week I visited the Home Depot in Wilmington to purchase a few items for a client project project that live close by After realizing that some of the materials I bought were too short, I returned to exchange them. Unfortunately, my experience at the customer service desk with Angela was one of the worst I've ever had at a Home Depot. She was very rude, unprofessional, and made me feel as though she had a personal issue with me during what should have been a simple return transaction.

Thankfully, the manager, Christi, stepped in to assist. The difference in professionalism was immediately noticeable. Christi was respectful, patient, and took the time to listen while I explained the situation. Even while I was speaking with Christi, Angela continued talking from the back, interrupting and making inappropriate comments. Christi had to ask her to stop because it was disrespectful and unprofessional.

Christi handled the situation with excellent customer service and completely changed what could have been a terrible experience. Because of her professionalism and willingness to help, I decided to leave a 5-star review. Otherwise, my experience with Angela alone would have deserved only 1 star. Thank you, Christi, for representing the level of customer service customers should expect from Home Depot.”

“I had a plumbing issue. The issue was a Moen PosiTemp tub faucet dripping hot water after being shut off. I called a plumber. He came and quoted $1750 to open up the wall to replace pipes.
I called PCH. John got on the phone and suggested I come see him.
John listened to the faucet’s symptoms and suggested to replace the faucet ($18) and replace the cartridge ($77). John provided easy to understand instructions.
Off I went and fixed the issue within an hour.
Go to PCH and ask for John before calling a plumber.”

“Not all Home Depots are created equal! This particular store has the best garden center by far, in my opinion. I live in Philly and make the trip once or twice a season. I have gotten some of my favorite plants here. They have such a good selection!”

We couldn’t find what we were looking for and the amount of time that he spent assisting us showed an outstanding level of customer service that you just don’t find anymore. “Stopped by Lowe’s while working in the area and had a good experience overall. The store was clean, organized, and easy to navigate. They had a solid selection in lighting, hardware, and tools, and it was easy finding what I needed without wasting time walking around.

Staff I interacted with were polite and helpful, and checkout was smooth. Definitely a convenient location when you’re on a busy schedule and need supplies quickly.”

“Usually have what you need. I usually go to Ace for the customer service, they are the very best. But the home Depot here does not seem to have a huge turnover in personnel. Familiar faces abound and are reliable in knowledge of inventory and location.”

“I dropped in here to pick up some supplies for a DIY project and was really impressed by how organized everything was. Even though it is a huge store, the signs make it super easy to find exactly which aisle you need without wandering around forever. I ended up needing some wood cut to a specific size, and the associate at the back was incredibly patient and helpful with my measurements. The checkout process was also surprisingly fast for a busy Saturday morning. It’s definitely my favorite spot to go when I need reliable tools or just some inspiration for things to fix up around the house.”
