It was truly a blessing finding this mechanic. I was looking all over for a qualified mechanic that could fix my BMW, most shops were not trained or didn’t have equipment to handle my car. I was referred to dealership, before I went I found Jan at Palicar Repair online. From my immediate call he gave me reassurance he could handle the repair. He gave me a really good price that I could not argue with considering what needed to be done. I will absolutely come back for regular maintenance and if anything else arises. So far my A/C ice cold with zero problems with repair. It’s been 3 weeks and I waited to make accurate review!”

There was a need for a reschedule and they worked with me to get my service done and was on my way to Ft Myers. On You Pad not only changed the oil on the RV but they did my generator too. They conducted a Safety Inspection that fit my need for an out of State inspection for my registration. Highly recommend their service.”

“I went to Mavis for a 5:00 PM appointment to have new tires installed, and I was told the wait would be about 2.5–3 hours. While the wait time wasn’t ideal, I had work to do, papers to grade, etc., so I didn’t mind too much.
What really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service from Dan and Carlos. Initially, I was the only customer waiting, and the TV was playing in the waiting area. After a long day of working with children, I was already overstimulated by noise, so I asked Dan if it would be possible to lower the volume. He was incredibly accommodating and genuinely hospitable about it. It was such a small thing, but his kindness and willingness to make me comfortable really stood out.
Carlos checked me in and was equally wonderful. He walked me through the entire process, made sure I had the information for the mail-in rebate, and even applied additional coupons to help bring my final cost down. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated.
To top it off, I had something I had written that I needed help proofreading and translating into Spanish. Carlos speaks Spanish, and I don't, and he was kind enough to help me with that as well. 😊
Both Dan and Carlos were easy to communicate with, patient, respectful, and genuinely seemed like good people who wanted to help. At no point did I feel ignored, rushed, or like they were trying to upsell or take advantage of me.
The wait time was definitely yucky, but the service and personal attention I received made up for it. Customer service like this is what makes a difference. I truly appreciate both of them and look forward to working with them again in the future.

“Originally went in for an exhaust leak on a car i just recently purchased.. turned out to be an exhaust manifold needed to be replaced and also found out i i had a ball joint barely hanging on… both problems were corrected relatively quickly and so far so good car runs great… had a good experience and what i spent i thought was pretty reasonable considering what i had to have done.. will definitely go back again”

“I dont know where to start with this review. Joe and his team are honest, helpful, and will not steer you wrong. We have had 2 cars fixed there now. One was major, a motor replacement, and the other was a complete walk through on a vehicle we bought for our daughter. From start to finish both occasions were great. We felt informed and treated fairly. Which some times is not the case when work is done at a shop. If you need something done to your car, I highly recommend you make the call to Total Automotive Services.”

“Being new to the area, I was searching for an auto repair shop. After seeing good reviews for HONEST-1 Auto Care South Tampa. I decided to go there.
I had a few concerns. I was hearing a grinding noise when I stepped on my brakes and when I went over a speed bump at minimum speed, I would hear a rickety sound.
They did a complete inspection & sent me a full report! Nothing underneath is loose. I was happy to hear that! My front brakes would need to be replaced in the near future. Maybe another 5k miles. I decided to replace them. I also had a few other items that were suggested but nothing urgent, and they didn’t try to pressure me. All in all service was very good. Very clean shop. I we will definitely be returning in the near future. Kevin & Jeff are very personable & super nice guys. ??”
